Greensky Bluegrass have announced their Winter Tour 2023.  The 16-date tour will kick off on January 12 in Buffalo, NY, and will travel throughout the East Coast and Midwest including the band's debut performances at the historic Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ, and the Stanley Theater in Utica, NY.  The winter tour will wrap up with two nights in Chicago on February 3 and 4.

Award-winning Canadian duo Whitehorse—Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet—were originally planning on recording an EP of 70s country songs instead of what became their upcoming album I’m Not Crying You’re Crying—out on January 13th via Six Shooter Records. But when the lockdown hit, the pair began churning out new original songs. “Luke was like staying up late every night and writing all the songs about lockdown,” remembers McClelland.

Orebolo, a Connecticut-based acoustic trio, will visit colorful Colorado for three performances in December 2022. The band, comprised of musicians from nationally acclaimed rock band Goose, features Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, guitar), and Jeffrey Arevalo (upright bass). December 10 will see the trio at the historic Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, followed by a December 12 appearance at Steamboat Springs’ Old Town Pub.

Acclaimed band Flatland Cavalry will release their anticipated new EP, Songs to Keep You Warm, this Friday, October 28 (pre-order here).

Produced by Bruce Robison and recorded at The Bunker in Lockhart, TX, the EP consists of six new songs written by lead singer Cleto Cordero as a source of warmth and comfort as the winter months arrive. In addition to the band, Songs to Keep You Warm also features special guests Ashley Monroe (“Parallel”) and Kaitlin Butts (“How Long”).

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary the release of the classic album Big Star #1 Record, benefit concert producers the Wild Honey Foundation and Big Star founder Jody Stephens will present a live performance of this legendary LP, performed in its entirety and in order by Jody Stephen’s all-star ensemble. Bonus songs from Big Star’s Radio City (“September Gurls”), Big Star Third, and Chris Bell solo material will also be performed. The event, a benefit for the Autism Healthcare Collaborative, will take place November 5th, 2022 at 8 p.m., at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale, Calif.
