Mempho Music Festival is proud to announce its 2021 music lineup taking place October 1-3, 2021 at its new home, Memphis Botanic Garden. The three-day event will feature a two-night headlining performance from rock titans Widespread Panic plus a headlining performance from folk-rock barn burners The Avett Brothers on the Adams Keegan main stage. Additional hitmakers covering the gamut of Americana, rock, and blues include Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Black Pumas, Lucinda Williams, and many more.

During this age of COVID-19, touring musicians across the land have been creative with the process of bringing music to their fans while maintaining some ability to generate revenue. Live video streams have been a ubiquitous way to accomplish both, and more recently pod-separated, limited attendance performances have emerged.

Today, ascending Connecticut rock band Goose announced plans for five live streams in the coming week. As the band prepares to kick off the first leg of their highly anticipated spring tour, they plan to provide both multi-date packages and individual show access through LivexLive.

Bringing some much-needed good news to music fans across the country, the Mighty Roots Music, LLC today announced its lineup for the inaugural Mighty Roots Music Festival to be held Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2 on historic Stovall Farms, just outside of Clarksdale, Miss., and 70 miles south of Memphis, Tenn. The lineup delivers a diverse array of roots-music performers and a unique experience on the site of the old Stovall Gin Company cotton gin complex and farm where Muddy Waters grew up.

Collectors and vinyl evangelists have marked their calendars for this year’s version of Record Store Day: RSD Drops, a two-part celebration this June 12th and July 17th. To commemorate #RSDDrops, Crosley Radio has teamed up with Apple Corps Ltd to release what could be the most highly anticipated exclusive turntable in Record Store Day history: The Beatles Yellow Submarine Portfolio Turntable. The deal was brokered by Thread Shop, Sony Music’s licensing and merchandising division.
