As luck would have it for Dead Heads, a 50th Anniversary expanded edition of Bob Weir’s “Ace” record, just released by Rhino Records on January 13, 2023, brings Grateful Dead music fans superiorly upgraded audio quality and a whole bunch of new content – nine live tracks recorded in April 2022 in New York City by Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros.
Few instrumentalists carry more respect than Adam Deitch & Borahm Lee, who together form renown live-electronic act, Break Science.
On January 13th, the duo will release their first single of 2023, “Mecha Flora,” a dreamy amalgam of funk fusion with dancing keys, warping synths and irresistible rhythm. The single marks the duo’s first since 2020’s, “Mettawave,” and previews an extended EP forthcoming in 2023.

JP Ruggieri has announced his sophomore studio album, Gradually Descend into Chaos, will be released March 10, 2023. The Nashville-based songwriter and studio musician has collaborated with producer Jano Rix (The Wood Brothers) on this unique, eleven track collection that reckons with heartbreak, loss, and uncertainty. The album’s first single, “Kill a Smile,’ is out today (listen/share). Ruggieri will support the album with an extensive U.K. tour beginning in February.

Six-string virtuosos Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley just shared a brand new tune from their upcoming Compass Records release, Living In A Song; a spirited, full-band ode to America’s favorite clear liquor, “Moonshine Run.” While much of Living In A Song spotlights the duo's proficiency on acoustic guitar and dobro, “Moonshine Run” finds Ickes and Hensley ripping on lap steel and electric guitar in addition to their signature un-amplified instruments. “I had this song pieced together for a few years,” remembers Hensley.

Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams have shared "Caravan," (listen/share), the third song to be released in advance of the husband and wife duo's upcoming live album, Live At Levon's! due February 3 on Royal Potato Family.
