PRAANG walked on stage around eleven o’clock and gave the audience a solid three hours of improvisatory jamming.

On January 24^th, NYC witnessed its coldest day in six years with high forecasts for the day in low teens. While the city's wiser residents spent their night coddled in sweaters and blankets, a select few decided to brave their way into Greenwich Village and attend Zinc Bar for a night of blood-tempering jazz and booze.

Fans of the Broadway version of "The Sound of Music" will notice an old favorite on Brooklyn Rundfunk Orkestrata's (BRO) 'The Hills Are Alive' (Canal Records, 3/8).

The second annual Winterfest on the Mountain music festival in Nederland, Colorado showcased an eclectic line-up of some of the hottest Colorado musicians and top-notch out-of-towners alike.
