The annual ALL IN Music & Arts Festival in Indianapolis returned for its second year this past weekend and with double the attendance from 2022. The 2023 installment played host to mind-blowing sets from Trey Anastasio & Classic Tab, Tenacious D (featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass), Umphrey’s McGee + Led Zeppelin Dreamset featuring Jason Bonham, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Cory Wong, The Beatles Dreamset and many more.

On Friday, August 25th, the THING Festival returned to Port Townsend, WA, for its third season. The three-day event, curated by Adam Zacks of the Seattle Theatre Group, showcased an eclectic lineup on two main stages and three associated venues. One festival-goer described the experience as "a mostly chill-out menagerie." Of the two stages, the Jeremiah Green stage memorialized the Modest Mouse drummer who tragically succumbed to cancer in early 2023.

PEDIGREE Foundation will host a special Writers Round at The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville, TN on October 8, 2023 (12:00pm doors open/lunch | 2:00p - 3:00pm show) to raise funds for shelters and rescues to help increase dog adoption.

RCA Records/Legacy Recordings will mark the 25th anniversary of Dave Matthews Band’s Before These Crowded Streets by releasing a special two-LP vinyl edition on November 3. Originally released on April 28, 1998, Before These Crowded Streets, the band’s third studio album, was their first to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 – and, in doing so, it ended the 16-week reign of the Titanic soundtrack atop the tally. The band’s next five studio albums would go on to enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1.

Midnight North, formed by singer-songwriters Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck, take their cue from the fertile Bay Area music scene and are set to release their next studio album Diamonds In The Zodiac via Americana Vibes on November 10, 2023.

Joni Mitchell has unveiled a never-before-heard song “Like Veils Said Lorraine” today from the forthcoming Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 3: The Asylum Years (1972-1975). 7th September 2023 - October 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of David Bowie’s classic collection of cover songs, PIN UPS, originally released 19th October 1973 - a mere six months after the legendary ALADDIN SANE and three months after the infamous final Ziggy Stardust show at Hammersmith Odeon, where he put the Ziggy persona to rest along with The Spiders From Mars.
