Renowned quartet Gov’t Mule, who will release their first-ever blues album, Heavy Load Blues, on November 12th, has announced the return of their annual New Year’s run of shows.

In the era of modern music, describing anybody as the “greatest of all time” is usually met with resistance—if for no other reason than the ever-evolving tastes of both musicians and fans—but if the topic is bluegrass guitar players, there’s a universally correct answer to “who’s the best”; the late, great Tony Rice. Rice was unequivocally one of the most influential, inventive, and beloved musicians in all of bluegrass and Americana music, and after he passed away in late 2020, his songs and stylings continue to live on in the droves of musicians he inspired.

Coming in hot from the night before, Goose closed the opening run to their fall tour with a burning show at Terminal 5 in New York, NY that included a surprise third set. The band sold out the two-night run at the 3,000 person venue and did not disappoint their fans with tasty bust-outs and debuts.

L.A-based singer-songwriter Dana Williams, who’s been dubbed a “modern day Ella Fitzgerald” by InStyle releases a visual for her new single “Let Me,” a flirtatious track about the fear and excitement at the beginning of a relationship. Swooning with jazzy nonchalance and huge emotion, the video, directed by @Hustlecake (Khalid, Wiz Khalifa), places Dana’s vocal and lyrical subtleties center stage. Williams co-wrote the song with Jack Laboz, who also produced the track.

It takes an artist with a soul to understand the soul of a city. Nashville-based soul/pop artist Elliott Blaufuss has done just that with his new single, “Nashville.” Out today, “Nashville” arrives with a music video that portrays an authentic and fitting representation of a city dealing with massive expansion and migration. Blaufuss composed the video as a visual montage, capturing many of the city's vibrant neighborhoods.
 

Acclaimed singer-songwriter-producer-musician Scott Hirsch today releases his third solo album Windless Day through Echo Magic Records with Soundly Music. To mark the occasion, he’s sharing an imaginative new music video for the song “Night People.”
