SnowGlobe Music Festival returned this past weekend to California’s breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains to host the country’s largest outdoor New Year’s music festival.

In 2009, Mariah Parker launched her Indo Latin Jazz Ensemble with a sold-out debut concert at Yoshi's in Oakland, California. Mariah’s new release for AncientFuture.com records, “Indo Latin Jazz Live in Concert,” captures the magic of that first performance, as well as subsequent Northern California concerts at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, the Throckmorton Theater in Mill Valley and a studio session at Bob Weir's TRI Studios in San Rafael.

Head over to Rolling Stone Country to watch the exclusive music video premiere of “Leave It On The Ground” from folk-pop newcomers Forlorn Strangers. The “artful video” showcases the family harmonies and string-forward accompaniments that Forlorn Strangers are becoming known for.

On December 7, 2016, a Wednesday evening, A Tribe Called Red sold out Chicago’s Lincoln Hall.  Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, ATCR is turning up the beat on the human tribe’s dance party.  With globalized attention on the water protectors at Standing Rock ND, the time is ripe for ATCR to bring their indigenous music to the masses.

With my belly full of turkey from the day before, I waddled my way out to the wintery streets of Indianapolis to The Vogue Theatre to catch my very first Turkuaz show. And, oh what a show it was! On November 26th, Turkuaz and The New Mastersounds, came to shake the dance floors of Indianapolis. It was a night of firsts for me.
