Fruition is happy to mark the release date for their first ever live album, “Live, Vol. 1” which is out today.  Originally timed to release around the band’s January California tour, “Live, Vol. 1” was pushed back when Covid forced the band to move their California run back to August. The band’s next two shows are at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, with support from The Record Company, and DJ Sleepy, and Beaver Creek’s Vilar PAC which will host an evening with the band.

It’s not many artists that can say that they’ve written songs in Antarctica, but for Joey Capoccia of Olympia, Washington Americana band The Pine Hearts, the South Pole was just another place to stop and look for inspiration. Working as a carpenter for the National Science Foundation, Capoccia holed up in the South Pole Station’s greenhouse to write the song “Wouldn’t You Know” on The Pine Hearts’ new album, Lost Love Songs, released today.

The Crystal Method (who is Scott Kirkland) has teamed with pioneering UK breakbeat producer Hyper for a unique single -- “Post Punk” featuring legendary Stooges front man Iggy Pop. “Post Punk” will appear on The Crystal Method’s seventh studio album The Trip Out set for release April 15, 2022 on Ultra Records.

In celebration of Black History Month, singer/songwriter Danielia Cotton honors the music of the late Charley Pride with her cover of his 1981 classic “Roll on Mississippi.” As one of only three African-American members of the Grand Ole Opry, Charley Pride was a trailblazer for Black country artists.
