The KBCO Studio C archive is releasing 7 new songs on vinyl for Record Store Day!  KBCO Studio C Groove Show Volume 1 will go on-sale with a very limited number of records on April 13th exclusively at Twist & Shout Records in Denver. 

Wolf Brothers, consisting of Weir on guitar and vocals, Don Was on standup bass and Jay Lane on Drums, played a 1st set consisting of a mix of classic Grateful Dead songs including "Friend of the Devil” and “Althea" along with covers of Bob Dylan’s "When I Paint My Masterpiece" and Daniel Lanois' “The Maker” as well as a pair of Weir's solo and sideband (RatDog) in “Gonesville” and "Bombs Away” respectively. The first set ended with Barlow/Weir’s "Lost Sailor” segueing into “Saint of Circumstance.”

Justin Townes Earle is set to return with The Saint of Lost Causes on May 24th, 2019.  The 12-song set was co-produced by Earle and his longtime engineer Adam Bednarik and was recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville, TN.  Founded by Cowboy Jack Clement in 1969, Sound Emporium has hosted country luminaries such as Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers as well as R.E.M., and countless other historic artists.

The Third Annual "Suwannee Spring Reunion” bluegrass music festival kicked off on Thursday, March, 21st in Live Oak, Florida. Located on the grounds of "The Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park" located in Northern Florida, between Tallahassee and Jacksonville, just south of the Georgia border.

Blues, folk and bluegrass singer, Trevor Hall, and his touring mates, Dirtwire, drops their latest single, “Strength In One.” The song is in honor of their world tour where they treated concert-goers to a sneak preview of the single before officially dropping it for the world to enjoy today.

Brooklyn-based ensemble, Cousin Earth, are announcing their 24-date spring tour which has already begun. The tour includes the band's first Southeastern run, two 4/20 shows in the Charleston area, and several festivals.
