New Family Dog is guitar player Jon "Blackdog" Ridnell's latest musical incarnation with his son Miles Ridnell on bass and vocals, combining his funk and jazz roots with the bluegrass music he has absorbed living in Nederland, Colorado. With a repertoire of around 500 songs including hundreds of originals, New Family Dog can perform as a duo as well as in larger combos featuring Matt Smart on drums, Eric Shneider (Quemando) on trumpet, Paul Stadler on tenor sax, with Jon and Miles on guitar and bass.

On Tuesday, October 20th, Nashville native William Tyler—with the help of fellow musicians Tristen, Erin Rae, Margo Price, Robyn Hitchcock and Emma Swift, Roseanne Cash, Caitlin Rose, and many more —will take to the airwaves in support of Bradshaw’s campaign. The telethon, hosted by Third Man Records, hopes to build on Bradshaw’s already snowballing momentum.

My body always takes the brunt of my feelings. (The aftermath of a significant loss caused my right eye to twitch uncontrollably. In meetings I was convinced colleagues were distracted by my Quasimodo-ish appearance. I also experienced immense hearing sensitivity. The Ghost of Paul Revere have announced four additional socially-distanced shows in October. Fans can catch the band at Narrow Gauge Cinema’s Drive-In in Farmington, ME on October 11th (this is the third show added due to overwhelming demand after the October 9th and 10th dates sold out), at PopUpNH in Portsmouth, NH on October 16th (the band will play an early and a late show at 6 and 8:30), and they will also play a special, intimate hometown show in Portland, ME at Maine Craft Distilling on October 18th.
