Jackie & The Racket’s single is the latest installment from the reliably great Dutch Records single series. Jackie and company recently moved to Nashville, and hopefully soon the good folks of Tennessee will get a chance to see their live show, which they are known for. On their latest release Jackie & The Racket combine country, southern rock and added a dash of psychedelia. It’s under the surface, but it’s not your average country bar band….not at all.

David LaDuke is dedicating his cover of B.B. King's song "Bad Luck" to the late great guitarist, himself. B.B. King passed away on May 14, 2015, from Alzheimer's disease and other health issues.
Though David's guitar style is more chord-oriented, and B.B.'s was more single-note and deliberate, he was always a fan. "I've been to tons of his concerts and am heavily influenced by the blues."
Beth Whitney’s new record, “Into the Ground” set for release May 28th sparked a wave of intense emotions that clearly have been brewing for quite a while now. I hadn’t realized the extent of my feeling as I’ve been cocooning. Whitney’s music helped me to see I’m distracted by a myriad of issues and hence desperately need grounding. To start off, April through June is always marked by the hubbub of the fiscal year’s end, but I’m also preoccupied by the despicable behaviors of a disgruntled colleague.
