In keeping with Christmas Jam's three-decade tradition of giving back to the Asheville community, Grammy Award-winning vocalist-songwriter, producer and revered guitarist Warren Haynes and the W&S Charitable Foundation have donated $400,000 to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity - one of the largest ever in the event's history, bringing the new total to $2.7 million raised since 1999.

The upcoming run features stops at the famous Fillmore Detroit in Detroit, MI, the Surf Ballroom & Museum in Chicago, IL, the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN, and the beloved Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN. Grace Potter and Higher Ground Presents announced today that Gov’t Mule has been added to the lineup for the 2019 Grand Point North Music Festival, set to take place September 14th and 15th at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park.  In addition, Warren Haynes will join Potter to perform an acoustic set.  Single day tickets are now on sale for $64.  Two-day passes are available for just $84.

With just a few weeks until the gates open at the Newport Folk Festival, I find myself thinking about little else, at least musically. I go to a number of festivals and see a lot of shows, but it’s rare that a musical event can rob my attention well before it happens. It’s difficult to describe the festival to those who haven’t been; like anything magical, you really need to experience it for yourself to fully understand why it sells out instantly, without the fanfare of announcements and advertisements. In fact, the last ticket is sold long before the first artist is announced.

Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre is out June 28th via Provogue / Mascot Label Group. The film was captured in a 9-camera shoot during two special nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, in April 2018.  A wide-ranging song selection from Gov’t Mule’s acclaimed catalog is featured on the releases, which will come in a variety of configurations (2 CD/2 DVD deluxe package (the CD and DVD feature entirely different track lists,) two separate double-vinyl packages, digital, Blu-ray and a 2-CD package (featuring audio from the film).

Rock titans Gov't Mule will be returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on August 18th. A new-found summer tradition following last year's incredible super-sized show, the band will bring their jam-packed set to the legendary Red Rocks for another unforgettable performance. Ryan Bingham will support.
