MATT PANAYIDES is a guitarist and composer whose distinctive playing has led to performances throughout New York City and all over the world. Influenced by guitarists such as Jim Hall, John Scofield, and Wes Montgomery as well as Jimi Hendrix and Joni Mitchell, Panayides has set out on his own path creating a unique body of music documented across numerous performances and recordings. Based in the New York City area, Panayides can be found leading his own groups and collaborating with other musicians throughout NYC and abroad.

The Routes are back with “Lead Lined Clouds”, their 13th studio album, and their first vocal offering since 2021’s “Mesmerised”. Picking up where “Mesmelrised” left off (with 4 instrumental albums being released between “Mesmerised” and “Lead Lined Clouds”), “Lead Lined Clouds” consists of ten original songs, tackling subjects such as austerity, old age, corruption, propaganda, social media, and mental health.

Tunisian oud master and vocalist Dhafer Youssef has announced his forthcoming studio album, Street of Minarets, out January 27th via Back Beat Edition. The album is available now for pre-save HERE. The new single, and the album’s closer, “Ondes of Chakras” features a meditative build of sound created by a flurry of woodwind flourishes, groovy strings, and a percussive backdrop.

Erik Vincent Huey releases his debut, Appalachian Gothic, today through the Orchard/CEN and his own Appalachian AF Records. The album was recorded at Cowboy Technical Studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and produced by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel, the legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll guitarist (Joan Jett, Del-Lords, Steve Earle & The Dukes) and producer (Bottle Rockets, Jimbo Mathus, Yayhoos, Sarah Borges).

Brooks & Bowskill is the partnership of Brittany Brooks and Jimmy Bowskill (Blue Rodeo, The Sheepdogs). Their music journeys between the old and the new, weaving sounds of 60s folk rock, 70s country twang and contemporary Americana into a genre that is completely their own.

Time Sawyer is set to release its 7th studio album, Dig a Little Deeper on March 10, 2023. The record explores the human failings that get in the way of finding true connection with one another and forging our authentic path in the world. The first single, “It’s What It Is” is out now (Listen/Share). Time Sawyer will support the album with a series of U.S. tour dates through the spring and summer.
