Boulder Theater

The Boulder Theater reveals its October reopening alongside the announcement of nine very intimate and socially-distant shows, featuring local artists including Magic Beans, Random Rab, and Tenth Mountain Division. Each show will be limited to 100 guests. Tickets may be purchased in tables of 4 or 8 and each ticket comes with 2 McDevitt Supply tacos, 2 drinks, and chips & salsa for the table. All events are 21+ and are to follow strict local, state, and national guidelines.

“We’re a Mexican American band, and no word describes America like immigrant. Most of us are children of immigrants, so it’s perhaps natural that the songs we create celebrate America in this way.” So says Louie Perez, the “poet laureate” and primary wordsmith of Los Lobos, when describing the songs on the band’s new album, Gates of Gold.

Out of an abundance of caution, we must postpone the Jerry Dance Party performance on March 19, 2021 at the Boulder Theater to the following date, July 9, 2021. All existing tickets will be honored. If you're unable to attend due to the new date, refunds will be available for the next 30 days at point of purchase. Thank you for understanding.

The debate between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones has been going on ever since they first crossed paths on the charts 54 years ago. The argument at the time, and one that still persists, was that the Beatles were a pop group and the Stones were a rock band: the boys next door vs. the bad boys of rock. So who’s better? These two legendary bands will engage in an on-stage, throw down - a musical 'showdown' if you will - at the Boulder Theater on Sunday, March 15 courtesy of tribute bands Abbey Road and Satisfaction - The International Rolling Stones Show.

To help raise awareness and support for the Save Our Stages (SOS) Act, NIVA Colorado has dubbed Wednesday, July 29th as the organization’s “Day of Action.”

Z2 Entertainment venues–the Boulder Theater and Fox Theatre in Boulder and the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins–have each launched Recovery Funds to help weather the financial storm the global pandemic has brought upon independent music venues across the nation. Unable to hold concerts for the past four months, Z2 Entertainment has been unable to accrue any income.

Due to restrictions and guidelines and for the safety and comfort of our participants, we have decided to postpone the Buddhist Arts and Film Festival and the Krishna Das performance until June 24, 2021. All existing tickets for the August 13, 2020 concert will be honored. If you are unable to attend due to the new date, refunds will be available for the next 30 days at the point of purchase.

For decades, the battle has raged: Beatles or Stones?  Through their heyday, fans accused London’s Rolling Stones of stealing ideas -- even entire albums – from their Liverpool counterparts. At the same time, the Beatles secretly envied the Stones’ “bad boy” image and attitude, often copying their style.  Both bands are unmistakably great, scoring an array of hits that changed musical history, but only one can be the best.  The most infamous rivalry in rock and roll never played out in a public arena until now as Beatles vs.
