TAUK

The NYC-based rock/fusion quartet TAUK announces today they will join the lineup of Yonder Mountain String Band's Harvest Music Festival to be held October 11-13th in Ozark, Arkansas. TAUK will play Saturday, October 13th at 8pm. The band has spent the past summer turning heads with their electrifying instrumental performances at Bonnaroo, Hangout Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival and The Allman Brother's Peach Fest.

The Peach Music Festival announces that sales of single-day tickets will begin this Friday, July 13 at 10am. Tickets for the Friday, August 10 show will be $60* and tickets for Saturday, August 11 (which include a free Sunday, August 12 ticket) are $80*.

After turning heads this summer with their electrifying instrumental performances at Bonnaroo, Hangout Music Festival and Summer Camp Music Festival, Tauk will be topping off their summer festival run by performing on Saturday, August 11th at the first annual Peach Music Festival, presented and headlined by The Allman Brothers Band.

With the recently released EP titled Pull Factors, the New York based instrumental rock-fusion quartet Tauk has exploded on the music scene. But long before this summer’s myriad music festivals, Junior High friends, guitarist Matt Jalbert, bassist Charlie Dolan, and keyboardist Alric "A.C." Carter cultivated an eclectic collective.

I have a problem. It’s not a joke. I am addicted to music. I have been a victim to this addiction since 1987, maybe earlier.  That was my first live music experience.   My addiction to music has affected me adversely in the following ways: uncontrollable smiles, a feeling of connection to everyone around me, and a sense of synchronicity with harmony and syncopation within my everyday surroundings.

After playing at Bonnaroo, Hangout Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival and plenty of dates in between, Tauk, is heading home to Long Island for two major summer shows.
