Grateful Web is excited to present local Colorado Newgrass road warriors, Head for the Hills and Front Country, who plays Bay Area Bluegrass, a cross-genre jaunt spanning indie, folk, Americana and traditional bluegrass.  With support from local boys Timber!, this is a perfect Thursday night pickin' and grinnin' hoedown in Boulder.

Don’t let the sadness and down-on-their-luck characters on Pedigo’s Magic Pilsner fool you. The new release from Dallas singer/songwriter John Pedigo, one half of folk-rock duo The O’s, also radiates plenty of hope, joy and exuberant defiance in the face of loss. Pedigo’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, and Pedigo set out to make and record some songs that would, in their own way, honor and entertain his dad.

Boulder, for so many years, has been a hotbed of music activity. It is known around the country as having one of the most influential music scenes in America; particularly if you’re a fan of newgrass, jambands, electronic, and everything in between. Some of Boulder's longest standing bands have merged traditional American jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, and bluegrass with electronic music and other genres. One example that comes to mind is The String Cheese Incident.

Grateful Web and Light Rail Studios are releasing the video premiere of Lee Gallagher and The Hallelujah’s new single “God of War”!  The single was recorded on Jerry Garcia’s old tape machine and mastered by the legendary Betty Cantor-Jackson.

In celebration of what would have been Jerry Garcia’s 75^th birthday, the GarciaLive series continues on with perhaps their most diverse entry yet. On June 28^th, Round Records/ATO will release GarciaLive Volume Nine: August 11, 1974 Keystone Berkeley. The iconic guitarist was on a roll, building his rapport as a solo artist separately from the Grateful Dead for the first time since his early days as a folkie, playing dozens of gigs in California and beyond.

UK band Everywhere have announced their first 2017 offering in the form of new single "Man Up", currently available for streaming on Soundcloud. The official release to all digital stores including Spotify will happen on June 9.

Dressed up in an electro-pop suit, the new single sports funky basslines, analog synths, and last but not least, a feature by Swedish singer/songwriter Rebecca Nohr.
