Instrumental rock-fusion quartet TAUK have added new dates to their 2017 tour. Headlining some of the biggest venues to date in Denver, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and New York, the tour will take them around the country before a summer festival season that will see them featured at Summercamp, Electric Forest, FloydFest, LOCKN’ and more. In addition to their headline shows and festival appearances, they will co-headline with Papadosio in Minneapolis and offer direct support for Railroad Earth, and STS9 for select shows - see below for full tour schedule. Openers have been added for many of the shows and have been announced below.

For a sneak peek of what to expect when TAUK hits the road, the Oyster Bay, NY quartet have also announced that they will begin selling select live shows via Nugs.net. The first release from the band’s archives, which is available today, is a two-set show from October 13th, 2016 at The Waiting Room in Omaha, NE.  Guitarist Matt Jalbert said “We’re excited to be releasing our shows through Nugs.net so that fans can have a place to find high quality live soundboard recordings from us. We’ll be putting up some older shows to start, and will continue to release more shows from our upcoming tours.”

TAUK are touring on the heels of their latest studio album Sir Nebula. Released on September 16, 2016 via STS9’s record label 1320 Records, Sir Nebula was produced by Grammy award winner Robert Carranza. Steeped in a juxtaposition of genres as diverse as jazz, rock, funk, electronic, ambient, and hip-hop, Sir Nebula emphasizes the band’s knack for creating progressive melodies and producing intrinsic soundscapes.

TAUK has just released “Realize” a new single on all digital services. Recorded during the Sir Nebula album sessions, the track was the last song cut to fit the vinyl release. The band wraps their spring tour this weekend with a show tonight in Boston’s Brighton Music Hall and tomorrow at NYC’s Irving Plaza. TAUK will be playing a special set on Saturday in honor of earth day with the West End Blend horns.  Support comes from Consider the Source and Space Bacon.

TAUK has also released a new show on Nugs.net. Billed as TAUKing McGee, the show features a pairing with Umphrey’s McGee’s Jake Cinninger and Joel Cummins at NYC’s BB King Blues Club from January 22nd, 2016.  The band took the stage for a late night after party following an Umphrey’s McGee and TAUK show uptown at the Beacon Theatre. As a massive snow storm blanketed the city (later causing the 1/23 Beacon gig to be cancelled) the band tore through TAUK originals, Umphrey’s “Soul Food 1”  and covers from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bonobo and the Fabulous Counts.

The second Nugs release due out tomorrow is another snow heavy show, this time, a TAUK headline show from 3/29/17 at the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room, where the band played two newer unreleased songs and a mix of fan favorites and covers including Stevie Wonder’s “Contusion”

ALO is excited to announce their 12th annual Tour d’Amour.  Held each year in February and March, to surround Valentine’s day, the tour is a celebration of love in all of its forms. The celebration in 2018 will be as epic as ever, with one modification.

Dave Brogan, the band’s drummer, and one of four lead vocalists, is unable to join the band on this year’s Tour d’Amour  due to family obligations.  Instead, holding down the drum chair, will be longtime ALO friend and collaborator Ezra Lipp (Phil Lesh, Sean Hayes, Magic in the Other).

ALO has always felt like a family.  While Zach, Dan and Steve will miss having Dave on drums for these shows, they all fully support Dave in taking the time needed for his family.

From Dave:

Unfortunately I will not be able to join my ALO brothers on this 12th annual installment of the Tour d’Amour. I need to be home with family seven days a week at that time. I am excited that Ezra will be playing in my stead and very confident that his ability and personality will fit seamlessly with the band. I look forward to rejoining ALO on the road as soon as possible and thank Steve, Lebo and Zach for their patience and understanding. Family has always come first with ALO and I know that our core fans love and support that. Thanks to them as well.”

In addition to welcoming  Ezra to the stage for this run, the shows will be enriched by a great set of support acts who will be announced on November 27th.

The Fillmore weekend will include two evenings of music, plus a Saturday family Matinee show.

Tickets to all shows go on sale this Friday at 10 AM PST, except Chico which will go on sale in January.

With Thanksgiving weekend in the rearview, ALO is excited to announce the acts who will be joining them on the road for their 12th annual Tour d’Amour.  Held each year in February and March, to surround Valentine’s Day, the tour is a celebration of love in all of its forms.  John Craigie will open most shows, including the Friday at the Fillmore.  Monophonics will join ALO for Seattle and Portland, and TAUK will help close out the tour, and Fillmore weekend on the Saturday night in San Francisco.

"I’m very excited to have John Cragie out for most of our TDA run. I love his writing and storytelling and we’ve been texting regularly about some fun ideas for the tour. Likewise, TAUK and Monophonics are two of my favorite bands out on the road these days, and I’m looking forward to the possibility of collaborating." - Zach

"I recently guested with TAUK at Cervantes in Denver, CO and we had such a ball together! These guys are fantastic players, and they definitely bring the party with them! We couldn't be more thrilled to have them join us for our tour closer at The Fillmore in San Francisco! And Monophonics is a band we've known and loved for a while! We both hail from the Bay Area, so our orbits have crossed many a time, but we've never gotten to do any touring together. We're fired up that we finally get to pair up for a run of shows as we bring the Cali vibe up to the Pac NW!" - Lebo

The celebration in 2018 will be as epic as ever, with one modification. As previously announced, Dave Brogan, the band’s drummer, and one of four lead vocalists, is unable to join the band on this year’s Tour d’Amour  due to family obligations.  Instead, holding down the drum chair, will be longtime ALO friend and collaborator Ezra Lipp (Phil Lesh, Sean Hayes, Magic in the Other).

Oyster Bay, NY’s own TAUK has announced their spring tour dates. A quick trip to the west coast to play San Francisco’s legendary Fillmore with ALO and the Pot of Gold Festival in Arizona will be followed shortly by the kick off to the tour proper.  The April dates begin in their home away from home in Colorado with a return to Denver’s Ogden Theatre with other highlights including Chicago’s Concord Music Hall, the Sweetwater 420 Festival in Atlanta (where the band sold out their NYE show at the Variety Playhouse), Washington, DC’s iconic 9:30 club, 2 trips to Boston for a headline show and the Boston Calling Music Fest, and a 2 night run at their hometown Brooklyn Bowl, where the band celebrated the release of 2016’s studio album Sir Nebula.

New music may not be too far off, as the band wrote to fans in a newsletter this morning "We're writing to you from in the studio right now where we find ourselves with more music than we know what to do with. The aim was towards a new album release this fall... but we're not sure we can wait that long!”

ALO is heading east. Known for their annual Tour D’Amour of California and the Pacific Northwest, ALO has heard their fans’ requests and are heading east for two big weekends this fall.  First up the band will be visiting New York, Philadelphia, D.C., Boston and Pawling, NY. in October.   November will feature a visit to Colorado’s front range for shows in Boulder and Denver where the band will be joined by fellow Californians Tea Leaf Green.

ALO is more than a band. It’s a musical relationship that has endured for over two decades.  While the band sometimes takes time off to work on various side projects, ALO has always been their main home. Zach Gill (keys/vocals) continues to tour the world with the band’s college pal Jack Johnson; Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (guitar/vocals) played shows with the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh; Steve Adams (bass/vocals) toured and recorded with Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers; Dave Brogan (drums/vocals) joined up with Utah band, Mokie. Brogan is currently taking a break from touring, so the drum throne for these shows will be filled by Ezra Lipp (Music In The Other, Sean Hayes).  On this upcoming run, he band will be performing originals from their extensive catalog, as well as a selection of covers that have become live staples for the band.

Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10 AM Local time.

TAUK release “Let It Ride” a new video from their album  Shapeshifter II: Outbreak today, from Director Dugan Warmoth, a follow up to “Recreational Outrage” which debuted with the album on September 28th.

Musically and visually, “Let It Ride" heads deeper down the wormhole of “Blade Runner”,“Tron” and “ Ex-Machina". The video's futuristic imagery takes viewers on a dystopian trip, and shows the continuing evolution of the 'Shapeshifter' virus that began in TAUK's live action "Checkmate” video, continued onward through the animated “Recreational Outrage” video through to it’s culmination in “Let It Ride".

Shapeshifter II: Outbreak embeds a sci-fi narrative into TAUK’s most adventurous, emotionally expansive work to date. As the video’s are threaded together, the album is a continuation of their early-2018 EP, Shapeshifter I: Construct.  The new album picks up where its predecessor’s narrative thread left off, and broadens the band's sonic palette to include a vast spectrum of synth sounds and programmed effects.

In sculpting the album’s intricate arrangements, TAUK called on such esteemed musicians as The Naughty Horns, Ghost-Note’s Nate Werth (a percussionist who’s also played with David Crosby, Q-Tip, and Snarky Puppy), and Juan Alderete (longtime bassist for Racer X and The Mars Volta). Shapeshifter II: Outbreak came to life in collaboration with TAUK’s longtime cohort Robert Carranza—a Grammy Award-winning producer/mixer/engineer also known for his work The Mars Volta, Ozomatli, and Taj Mahal.

TAUK’s Outbreak Tour has taken them around the country, and wraps up this Saturday in Buffalo, NY.  The year will close with 4 shows to celebrate the New Year, and the band will return in late January for a new tour also entitled “Let It Ride" (all dates below).

TAUK announces their Let It Ride, Pt. 2 Spring Tour today, and shares a free download of their new live compilation “Real TAUK, Vol 1." on Nugs.net.

Download/Stream “Real TAUK, Vol 1."

http://nugs.net/browse/music/20951/TAUK-mp3-flac-download-Real-TAUK-Volume-1

2018 saw TAUK release their most adventurous, emotionally expansive work to date. An early-2018 EP, Shapeshifter I: Construct was followed by a full album Shapeshifter II: Outbreak.  The new album picks up where its predecessor’s narrative thread left off, and broadens the band's sonic palette to include a vast spectrum of synth sounds and programmed effects. The band took the new songs out on the road in the fall and released nearly every show via their partnership with Nugs.net for sale and streaming through the Nugs subscription platform.

Now, coming off of a New Years run which saw them open for The Motet in Albany, NY, Umphrey’s McGee in Atlanta, and play to their largest headline crowds to date in Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD, the band will celebrate the announcement of their 2019 spring tour with a compilation of their favorite performances from this past fall. The release is free on the Nugs platform, and available for sale and streaming at all major digital music services.

TAUK’s Let It Ride tour is comprised of 2 parts. Part 1 takes the band through the Northeast with stops in January and February in Maine, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virigina and North Carolina.  Part 2 will start back up in the spring with a month’s worth of dates in April and May. The second leg of the tour will take the band through Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Florida, Ohio and wrap up in Pittsburgh, PA.  Already confirmed for the summer are a support slot at the world famous Red Rocks opening for Lettuce, and at the already sold out Electric Forest festival.

Tickets for all new shows go on sale this Friday, January 11th at 11 am, ET

California’s ALO announce that they will be releasing a series of EPs over the course of the next several seasons. The first, Creatures, Vol. 1: Spark is set to come out July 19th on Brushfire Records. As a sneak preview, the first track “Get To Do it Again" is available on all digital services today. Fans can buy and/or stream the new track here: https://ffm.to/alodoitagain. YouTube embed link also below.

Spark features four new tracks by founding members Zach Gill (keys, vocals), Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (guitars, vocals) and Steve Adams (bass, vocals), as well as the band's newest member, Ezra Lipp on drums.

Long-time ALO member Dave Brogan (drums, vocals) stepped away from touring last year to be closer to home, and Lipp was tapped to fill in. Lipp will continue touring with the band, as well as recording throughout the Creatures sessions.

This first EP release was engineered and mixed by long-time ALO collaborators Dave Simon-Baker and Mike Cresswell, with additional recording done by the band at home studios. While still maintaining that familiar ALO sound, there is a fresh, sparkly bounce to these tracks that should pleasantly surprise old school listeners. Gill explains, “'Get To Do It Again' is about turning a rut into a groove, finding silver linings by shifting your perspective. The idea that when you finally experience the thing you’ve been dreading, it often times is exactly what you needed. Your breakdown becomes your breakthrough."

Upcoming tour dates for the band include headlining shows in California, as well as festival appearances at High Sierra Music Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Sawtooth Music Festival, Petaluma Music Festival, and the band's own Camp Deep End. For a full list of dates and details go to: www.alomusic.com.

 Track list:

1. Heroes (Zach Gill)

2. Just a Spark (Dan Lebowitz)

3. The Rain (Steve Adams)

4. Get To Do It Again (Zach Gill)

On Friday, Portland, OR’s own Fruition released “Alone Together,” the first track from an upcoming series of 45’s to be released on 7” Vinyl and digital services. The song was penned by the band’s Kellen Asebroek (watch the video from the recording of the song here https://youtu.be/6Kt3vFYrlbk) and will be paired with “Snapdragon,” a brand new song co-written by Jay Cobb Anderson and Mimi Naja.  Snapdragon will be released digitally on August 2nd.  The band expects to have the vinyl 7” available for sale when they join the Wood Brothers at Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks on September 5th.  “Alone Together” was initially debuted at the band’s year end 2 night stand at the Boulder Theatre in Colorado, while Snapdragon has never before been heard by the public.  Asebroek explains "Alone Together is about the huge (and often overlooked) importance of listening.  When people are at their lowest, one of the most important things we can do to help is just be there and be present.  It's amazing how far an empathetic open ear and heart can help lift someone out of the fog of depression.  Reach out to your friends!  We weren't meant to go it alone.”

Blessed with 3 songwriters and singers, Fruition has always had more material than time to record and release it.  When the band prepared to record their last full album (2018’s Watching It All Fall Apart produced by Tucker Martine), over 50 songs were written, but the studio session song list was honed down to just 13.  Each Fruition album has had several gems passed by because they didn’t fit with the rest of the current material, and till now have never had a home.

The newly announced 45 Series will be an ongoing outlet for songs both old and new that simply need to see the light of day.  Asebroek explains "We already have four different 45's planned out, with each release containing two tracks.  The beauty of this is that we can really release ANYTHING we want, without worrying about it fitting on an album.  Some of them will be songs that we've played for years live and never recorded, some will be things your ears have never heard.  Got a favorite you'd love to hear given proper studio treatment?  Don't sleep on these 45’s."  While the songs will be released digitally, they will also be pressed to very short runs of 7” vinyl for collectors.  Only 250 copies of the 45 Series #1 release will be pressed, with 50 available for preorder on the band’s website, approximately 50 at Indie retailers, and the other 150 only available at shows.   An announcement will be made shortly about the release date of the second 45 in the series which has already been recorded and mixed by drummer Tyler Thompson.  Fans can listen to the track on their favorite digital music service , or preorder the vinyl 45 here: https://smarturl.it/Alone.Together

The band appeared this past weekend at Northwest String Summit outside of Portland, OR playing two sets including subbing in for a travel-delayed Galactic to close out Saturday’s main stage. Fruition will return to the  Pacific Northwest for a soon to be announced NYE run, and will be spending the rest of the summer playing festivals and headline dates including this weekend at Peach Festival.  Several new dates have been added in September, around their Red Rocks and AmericanaFest shows,  with support from the band’s good friend Taylor Kingman’s new band “TK & The Holy Know Nothings. A more extensive tour in October and November will be announced soon.

TAUK is excited to announce their fall headline tour.  The "Feed The Beast” tour will take them across the country over the course of 4 weeks, with the back half consisting of a co-headline run with JAZZ IS PHSH.  After a full festival schedule  that has included Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, High Sierra Music Fest and still has Cobblestone Live, Druid City, Wormtown, Resonance, Progtoberfest and Hulaween yet to come, TAUK is looking forward to having their full light show back out on the road with them this October/November.  The band has been weaving sets of their intricate originals and select covers from their broad catalog that includes last year’s Shapeshifter II: Outbreak.

The band has been releasing a steady stream of live video and audio content this year, with almost all shows released on Nugs.net in high res audio, and select shows released in video form on Youtube and Facebook.  The most recent release is perhaps the most sought-after show from the last 12 months.  2018’s iteration of Resonance Music and Arts Festival featured a TAUKing Beatles set consisting entirely of Beatles and John Lennon covers.  You can watch the whole thing here: http://bit.ly/TAUKingBeatles_Watch or listen to it here: http://bit.ly/TAUKingBeatles_Listen

Portland, OR’s own Fruition will ring in 2020 with a short run through the Pacific Northwest, including visits to Bend, Eugene, Seattle and Portland. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, and Danny Barnes supports on all shows. The band is currently on tour, with their next appearance coming this Wednesday at Americanafest in Nashville at the High Watt.

This past Thursday, Vol. 1 of their new limited edition 7” vinyl series went on sale at Red Rocks where the band was supporting The Wood Brothers. The band played both the A side “Alone Together” and the B side “Snapdragon” in their scorching one-hour set. On the following day, the band released “Playin’ On (Words),” Side B from Vol. 2 on all digital services. The new song was penned by the band’s Mimi Naja and is paired with Side A’s “Driving Into the Storm.” You can hear both songs here: smarturl.it/PlayinOnWords

Blessed with 3 songwriters and singers, Fruition has always had more material than time to record and release it. When the band prepared to record their last full album (2018’s Watching It All Fall Apart produced by Tucker Martine), over 50 songs were written, but the studio session song list was honed down to just 13. Each Fruition album has had several gems passed by because they didn’t fit with the rest of the current material, and until now have never had a home.

The recently announced 45 Series will be an ongoing outlet for songs both old and new that simply need to see the light of day. While the songs will be released digitally, they will also be pressed to very short runs of 7” vinyl for collectors. Only 250 copies of each release will be pressed, with 50 available for preorder on the band’s website, approximately 50 at Indie retailers, and the other 150 only available at shows.

Fruition’s last show in the Pacific Northwest was at Northwest String Summit in North Plains, OR. Having already played the main stage on Friday and scheduled to close out the festival’s Saturday night with a late-night set, the band ended up closing out the main stage again, subbing in for a travel delayed Galactic. Stanton Moore made it to the festival grounds in time to be rolled out on a drum riser to join Fruition for two songs. Fruition returned the favor later that night when the three singers sat in during Galactic’s set.

In addition to the newly announced NYE run, next Monday the band will be announcing a quick run between Hangtown in Northern California and Utopiafest outside of Austin, TX which includes a stop at Emeril Lagasse’s Boudin, Bourbon and Beers charity event in New Orleans, LA. All September dates feature support from the band’s good friend Taylor Kingman’s new band TK & The Holy Know Nothings.

Support on upcoming shows includes TK & The Holy Know Nothings, Danny Barnes, Handmade Moments, Bear Market Riot and Goodnight, TX, with more to be announced.

Recently, the 3-part harmony driven roots rock band has been experimenting with blending the old school tradition of releasing vinyl 45 singles, with the modern music business model of making everything available on digital service providers.  While the 4 songs are now available everywhere, limited edition short runs of only 250 copies of each release on 7” 45rpm have been pressed to vinyl. California’s ALO will be releasing their second EP of a series, Creatures, Vol. 2: Weave, on January 10th, 2020. The first EP, Creatures, Vol. 1: Spark, was released earlier this Summer on Brushfire Records. As a sneak preview, the first track from Weave, “Baby Blind Spot”, is available on all digital services today. Fans can buy or stream the new track here: https://ffm.to/alobbs and below is a YouTube video.

Weave features four new tracks by founding members Zach Gill (keys, vocals), Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (guitars, vocals) and Steve Adams (bass, vocals), as well as the band's newest member, Ezra Lipp on drums.

As with the first EP, the new release was engineered and mixed by long-time ALO collaborators Dave Simon-Baker and Mike Cresswell, with additional recording done by the band at home studios. The ongoing series tracks the development of the new lineup with Lipp, while still maintaining that familiar ALO sound. Old school listeners have been raving about the band’s live sets at recent festivals (High Sierra Music Festival, Camp Deep End), and Weave has bottled that energy well. The band can’t wait for fans to hear the new songs. Gill explains, “There are a whole lot of blind spots in our collective sphere of human awareness. Sometimes we crash right into them. Sometimes it’s tragic, sometimes it’s comedic… hopefully it’s at least educational.“

ALO is also excited to announce their 14th annual Tour D’Amour. The first leg will include headlining shows in California, as well as 2 co-headlining nights with Twiddle in the Pacific Northwest. These dates have been added to a tour schedule that includes a previously announced co-headlining show with Leftover Salmon at the Warfield in San Francisco on March 7th, as well as 2 sets at Winter Wondergrass in Steamboat Springs, CO. California’s ALO will be releasing their second EP of a series, Creatures, Vol. 2: Weave, on January 24th, 2020. The second single from Weave, “Ridin'”, is available on all digital services today. Fans can buy or stream the new track here: https://ffm.to/aloridin  A YouTube link for embedding is below.

The band is also happy to answer the call from East Coast fans for shows in NY, MA, PA, VA and DC. Previously announced legs of their annual Tour D’Amour include headline dates in CA plus co-bills with Leftover Salmon in San Francisco, The Motet in Tahoe, Twiddle in the Pacific Northwest, and Tea Leaf Green in Denver. Ben Morrison (of The Brothers Comatose) will support the newly announced East Coast dates.

Ridin’ is a new Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz composition. Lebowitz relays: "The melody for Ridin' had been kickin' around inside my head for many years. A few days before we went into the studio this last time, it manifested into a song. I think that the line 'As long as we can get up and sing our song, there isn’t anything that can do us wrong', really gets to the heart of it. It's a song of optimism - the idea that putting energy into that which you really love will bear the sweetest of fruits!"

Weave features founding members Zach Gill (keys, vocals), Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (guitars, vocals) and Steve Adams (bass, vocals), plus the band's newest member Ezra Lipp (drums, vocals). The four new tracks were engineered and mixed by long-time ALO collaborators Dave Simon-Baker and Mike Cresswell, with additional recording done by the band at home studios.

TAUK is pleased to announce support for Round 1 of their upcoming Squad tour that runs from January 30th to February 22nd.  Newly announced special guests include multiple dates with RCA, a new group featuring Rob Compa of Dopapod, and Chris DeAngelis and Adrian Tramontano of Kung Fu, Conscious Pilot, and Evanoff. Eminence Ensemble, Guerilla Toss, and Aaron Kamm and The One Drops and several others join the band for one-off support dates. Round 1 includes some of their biggest headline stops to date in markets like Boston and Boulder.

Coming off of the heels of a supporting slot of their own (with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at Asheville, NC’s Explore Asheville Arena) that saw the band sitting in on covers of Pink Floyd, Kool and The Gang, and Jimi Hendrix. The band will be premiering pro-shot video of their opening set from that night tonight at 9 pm EST at https://youtu.be/nsGUqkv_eGs . Members of the band will watch the set with fans and participate in a live Q&A.

The band has been unleashing song debuts of new material being honed for their next studio record, left-field covers (like “Tear Drop” from Massive Attack) and full tribute sets like Brooklyn Bowl’s TAUKing Hendrix set, and TAUKing Fire on Halloween which ran through a wide-ranging list of songs that play on the theme of Fire.

This evening, April 23rd, Portland, OR’s own Fruition premieres a pro-shot full length concert film that captures the biggest headline show of their career.  Tonight caps a five week run of weekly hangs with their fans on their Facebook page called “The Thursday Thing with Fruition”.  Each of the bands’ three singers Mimi Naja, Kellen Asebroek, and Jay Cobb Anderson have hosted a Thursday night, playing Fruition originals, covers, and solo tunes from their homes. Last week, drummer and in-house engineer and mixer Tyler Thompson took fans through his home studio, and his thoughts on drums.   Tonight, bassist and resident film editor Jeff Leonard will debut his edit of their January 17th, 2020 show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom.  The show marked the release of their 2nd new digital album in just 2 months - Broken At The Break of Day, and a vinyl release party of a combo vinyl of “Broken” and November’s Wild As The Night on one vinyl record.

The Mission Ballroom show was a sold-out co-bill with their good friends the California Honeydrops, and openers Mama Magnolia, who both joined Fruition for an extended 3 band encore.  Over 3800 fans packed the room that night, something that feels even more surreal in the shadow of stay at home orders across the country.  The band played classic tunes, and early live versions of songs from both records including “Dawn” which found itself lodged in the Top 5 at Americana radio, and in the top 30 of several key AAA radio charts.  The band was only 2 months into an extensive tour plan when the country began shutting down, and mid album cycle that saw features in Relix Magazine, an appearance on NPR’s Mountain Stage, a highlight of independent artists in American Songwriter and more.

Faced with the prospect of losing all of their shows for several months at minimum, the band turned to its fans and launched a Fruition Drive, where fans receive unreleased music and special thank you's in the mail from the band, and to this series of weekly Thursday night hangs. The band hasn’t remained idle, all 3 singers contributed covers to Live From Out There’s John Prine tribute last week, and a new recording of John Hartford’s “Back In The Goodle Days” will be featured on a newly announced tribute album in June. While shows remain on the schedule for later this year, like the rest of the live music business, the band faces great uncertainty.  As soon as public health officials give the green light, they look forward to hitting the road to support its latest releases.  Till then, next week the band will move to Instagram to continue their weekly Thursday Thing hangs with their fans.

Tune in to tonight’s concert film debut at 7pm EDT: https://www.facebook.com/fruitionpdx/videos/1721164201354758/

When ALO walked off stage at San Francisco’s historic Warfield Theatre on March 7th, 2020, little did they know that it would be one of the last shows together on stage for nearly a year. While it is still unsafe to hold shows at their favorite venues in California and beyond, the band will gather on private property in Northern California on Saturday February 27th for a special one-off - “BBQ d’Amour: Coming To You Live and Together With Love!” - a two-set "pay-what-you-want" live stream starting at 1pm PST. The band will play songs from their expansive catalog that has brought fans out each year for their Tour d'Amour shows over the last 15 years.

Tickets can be pre-purchased at : www.stageit.com/Alomusic/95140

The band couldn’t wait to get together, so they recorded a remote version of fan favorite “Maria” to help announce the show:

About ALO

ALO is a lot of things. Put simply, it’s a rock band, a family, an artistic outlet, a community, a business. But that only scratches the surface of this 3O-year musical vision-quest. ALO is an adventure, it’s a Spring break road trip to Colorado, it’s an all-night drive from Salt Lake City to San Jose. It’s the comfort of hanging out with life-long friends, of relaxing on a couch and finding treasures hidden in its cushions. It’s a coffee table full of amazing books on art, philosophy and music. It feels old and new, fresh and classic. It holds tension and dreams and possibility in its folds. It hopes to unveil something magical, something unheard of, something the world needs. It smells of super burritos and vans full of lemons, old bongs and epic hikes. It’s a sound of growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. It’s a sound of northern California, with sprinkles of Santa Barbara and Augusta, Georgia. It was born of childhood friendships, of shared destinies, of inside jokes and of a desire to make people happy. It’s not for everyone, although it tries to be. It wants you to love and share in its vision. It’s long and meandering, then suddenly sharp, abrupt!  It’s feral and clever, and it means you no harm. It’s love and freedom, collected and catalogued, then released back into the wilds from whence it came, over and over again. It’s an orchestrated liberation of our animal soul.

After spending the last decade in the Pacific Northwest, Mimi Naja has made her way from Portland, OR to her new Nashville home. Raised in the outskirts of Atlanta, the urban south beckoned her spirit when touring paused. As a founding member of roots-rock sweethearts Fruition, Mimi began her professional music career as one of three friends busking on the streets of Portland in 2008. As buzz grew around Fruition’s alluring three-part harmonies and community-bonding dance floor, they took their show to stages around the country. Still, the band continued to busk in between shows, and eventually met their manager on the streets of Austin during SXSW in 2013. Fast forward to early 2020, and the band had developed into a national headline act including an album release show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom, and became ongoing festival favorites at Northwest String Summit, High Sierra Music Festival, and WinterWonderGrass; with highlight appearances at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Bonnaroo, LOCK’N and more.

Much like her aversion to being pigeon-holed to one genre, Mimi applies the same philosophy when it comes to her instruments of choice. In Fruition, (where she is one of 3 lead vocalists), Mimi is known as a mandolinist and guitar player, but while grounded at home from the pandemic, she took advantage of the opportunity to practice for hours on piano, bass, drums, and even turntables. Growing up on all things radio pop and Southern rap, she ironically found her love of bluegrass upon moving out west, and remains forever inspired by the soul sounds of Motown and Stax. With her raw and direct voice - that’s been likened to Bonnie Raitt- she’s just as likely to croon a slow acoustic ballad as a frenetic rock and roll heater.

When Covid-19 radically altered life around the globe, Mimi found another silver lining by entering a substance treatment program. She continues to take life one day at a time and has remained in recovery since April 2020. Her latest solo endeavor, an EP entitled Nothing Has Changed, shares her latest chapter. Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers says “Mimi’s record sounds so original and refreshing to me...I’m truly inspired.” The title track “Nothing Has Changed” is symbolic of the meditative nature of entering this newfound chapter of self-improvement, and the venting of frustrations of shedding old skin for the sake of growth. The EP is honest and revealing, and while the title may seem pessimistic, a deep dive into the layers unveils a call for reinvention. After taking an early listen to the new release, fellow songwriter Anna Tivel said “If honesty had a voice, it would be Mimi’s. She has this way of lighting up the vulnerable depth, a gritty spotlight on a hard-won stage where she invites us to see our shared struggles made beautiful. These songs are human, full of questioning and compassion.”

The EP, out April 2nd, is available for Pre-order with a limited edition autographed poster at her website, and the first track is available on all digital services today: http://smarturl.it/MimiNaja

Mimi and Fruition bassist Jeff Leonard produced a video for the title track that can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/b8glTIbd1aY

New York-bred TAUK has been laying down an all-instrumental blend of progressive rock, hip-hop and jazz on stages across the U.S. for the last several years, until Covid 19 shut down the world. For the first time since their March 8, 2020 set at Florida’s Gasparilla Music Festival, the band will perform two new sets for fans, live from their new studio in Long Island, NY on March 27th. While there can’t be an in-person audience, the band is including their fans by letting them determine the set-lists entirely by request for a show they are calling "TAUK Request Live". The band has partnered with Set The Set to let fans craft their perfect setlist, and vote for all of the TAUK songs and select covers that they want to hear on Saturday, March 27th at 8pm ET. Setlist voting will be open until March 19th here: https://tauk.settheset.com

The brand new 2 set show will be live streamed on Nugs.net, with tickets priced at $9.99. Ticket buyers that purchase their tickets by March 11th will receive a discount code for a limited-edition merch drop that will go public on March 12th. A new edition of their sought-after FUNK hats, a TAUK branded mask, and a new limited edition T Shirt will all be made available from March 12th to March 27th. Fans that want to listen to the show in audio only format after the live stream will be able to pre-order an MP3 download of the full show when they purchase tickets to the video stream for a bundle price of $17.99. The video livestream will be available live, or for 48 hrs from when the fan presses play on the stream. Current subscribers to the Nugs.net subscription streaming service will be able to access a special 15% discount on ticket purchases to the live stream. The band is also pleased to announce that they have entered the studio to begin work with long time producer/collaborator Robert Carranza (Beastie Boys, Mars Volta, Jack Johnson) on a new album. Carranza will also man the audio mix for the livestream on March 27th. They hope to be able to release new music this fall for the first time since the release of 2018’s Shapeshifter 1 & 2 cycle.

To mark the release of her brand-new solo EP “Nothing Has Changed”, Mimi Naja of Fruition will perform a live stream from Nashville’s Purple Building tonight at 9pm ET. While the EP was recorded at Fruition drummer Tyler Thompson’s studio, for tonight’s EP release show Naja will be joined by Anthony da Costa, PJ George, and Alex Bice.

When Covid-19 radically altered life around the globe, Mimi found a silver lining by entering a substance treatment program. She continues to take life one day at a time and has remained in recovery since April 2020. Her latest solo endeavor, out today on all streaming services is honest and revealing, and while the title may seem pessimistic, a deep dive into the layers unveils a call for reinvention. Naja says "These songs have been on my heart throughout my early recovery journey, so to give it you just a few days shy of my 1-year sober mark really feels poignant and special.”

Current single “All You Know Of Me”, which was selected for Spotify’s Fresh Folk playlist this week, touches on the pre-recovery period where the party never ends, and you are never alone.

Fruition is happy to announce their first live show since March of 2020. The quintet will be appearing July 30th at the Dillon Amphitheater, with special guests Mipso.

As Covid 19 took over the world last March, Fruition were in the middle of their “Wild As The Night, Broken At The Break of Day” album tour. Though several members are still based in the Pacific Northwest, life, and love, have dispersed the band around the country, so the first time they will be able to gather as a band will be for the rehearsals for this show.

The band will also be performing from Aug 6-7  at the sold out Sawtooth Valley Gathering in Stanley, ID.

In between the two weekends the band will be beginning writing sessions for their next album. With a focus on writing and recording a new album, the band’s touring schedule will be extremely limited for the remainder of 2021.

Fruition is happy to announce their biggest headline show to date, a return to Denver’s Mission Ballroom on March 11th. Colorado has been a home away from home for the band, who played their album release show for Wild As The Night, Broken At The Break Of Day on January 17th, 2020. The co-billed show with the California Honeydrops was sold out in advance and celebrated the release of their latest album which reached top 5 on both the Americana radio album and singles charts and was received to critical acclaim.

For their return to The Mission Ballroom, the band is stepping up to full headline status, and will be joined by very special guests The Record Company and DJ Sleepy.  On March 12th, Fruition will also play an intimate "evening with" the band at Beaver Creek’s Vilar PAC.  The Pacific Northwest based Roots Rock stalwarts also recently announced a run through California with Goodnight, Texas and year end shows in Seattle and Portland with The Deer.

Tickets for the Mission Ballroom are onsale this Friday at 10 am local time. Tickets for all other shows are on sale now at http://www.fruitionband.com

Since having their album release tour interrupted by the onset of the COVID pandemic, the band has kept a much more limited live schedule to allow time for writing the next record, but played to 3000 fans this summer at Colorado’s Dillon Amphitheatre, and at several festivals, plus a hometown show in Pittsburgh this fall for drummer Tyler Thompson.

California’s ALO is elated to announce their 15th anniversary Tour d’Amour, a west coast jaunt that takes them through their home state as well as Nevada, Oregon and Washington. The band closed out their last full Tour d’Amour on March 7th, 2020 with a co-billed show at The Warfield with Leftover Salmon, which ended up being one of the last concerts in San Francisco before Covid shut down the concert business. For obvious reasons, the band put a pause on Tour d’Amour in 2021, but did reward fan’s patience with several outdoor shows in California this past summer at the Bruns Amphitheatre in Orinda, Camp Deep End in Navarro, Roaring Camp in Felton, and Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, as well as a trip down to San Diego for Oktoberfest. Next year’s tour will see them return to some of their favorite rooms on the west coast, where they’ll be joined by special guest Anna Moss (Handmade Moments).

ALO formed over 20 years ago on the UC Santa Barbara campus, but Bay Area natives Zach Gill (keys/vocals), Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (guitar/vocals), and Steve Adams (bass/vocals) have been playing together since their early teens. The most recent member Ezra Lipp (drums/vocals) has been in the band full-time since Tour d'Amour XIII in 2019. The band has built a beloved catalog of thoughtful material, with echoes of classic California pop/psych-rock (Grateful Dead, Doobie Brothers) and dance-party/jam (Talking Heads, James Brown, Steely Dan). Members of the band have played with Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh, Nicki Bluhm, Brett Dennen, Steve Kimock and dozens more. Since 2005, the band has recorded for Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records, and has recently begun pre-production for their next release.

Tour d’Amour XV will feature stops at famed rooms like the Troubadour in LA, The Great American Music Hall in SF, The Crocodile in Seattle, The Doug Fir in Portland, and more.

Tickets for all dates will go on sale this Friday at 10 am local time at www.alomusic.com

Fruition is happy to announce their first ever live release, “Live, Vol. 1” which is due out January 7th, 2022. Drummer and Mixing Engineer Tyler Thompson shares "This album is a recording of a show at Visual Arts Collective in Boise, ID on February 10th, 2019. It was the end of a long tour, so we were definitely firing on all cylinders. Luckily, we didn't even know the show was being recorded to multitrack, so the energy couldn't be more honest and rowdy. It was so fun going back through these live tracks that it makes us feel there may be many more live albums in future.”

The first track featured from the live release is, “I Don’t Mind” which closed out 2016’s “Labor of Love”, an album that helped bring the band to national prominence. Singer/songwriter Mimi Naja (vocals/mandolin/guitars) says the song is "about when living your truth doesn’t align with someone else’s expectation of you, and not swaying from that truth even if it hurts someone else.” Bassist Jeff Leonard had begun putting up Go Pro cameras at every show on that winter tour and honing his editing chops with all of the footage on the long drives between shows. Today’s track release is accompanied by a video culled from the fruits of that labor: WATCH

Naturally, listening back to the tracks for this live record have the band thinking about upcoming live shows. Next up are 3 shows in the Pacific Northwest to celebrate the ringing in of the new year at the brand-new Crocodile in Seattle, and two shows at The Wonder Ballroom in Portland. Texas based The Deer will support on 29 and 31, and local favorites The Laurelthirst Regulars featuring TK and Lewi open the 30th. After a short break after NYE, the band will head south for a six show run through California featuring good friends Goodnight, TX.

March will see the band playing their biggest headline show to date, a return to Denver’s Mission Ballroom on March 11th with support from The Record Company and DJ SLeepy. That will be a return to the venue that hosted the release show for their most recent studio album, Wild As The Night, Broken At The Break Of Day back on January 17th, 2020. The co-billed show with the California Honeydrops was sold out in advance and celebrated the release of their latest album which reached top 5 on both the Americana radio album and singles charts, Top 20 at AAA, and was received to critical acclaim. On March 12th, Fruition will also play an intimate "evening with" the band at Beaver Creek’s Vilar PAC.

Also recently announced is the band’s return to Winter Wondergrass Tahoe April 1-3, 2022, a stop at Rooster Walk in Martinsville, VA May 26-29, and the rescheduled Levitate Music and Arts Festival in Marshfield, MA July 8-10. Additional festival appearances will be announced in the coming weeks.

Fruition is happy to announce their first visit to the East Coast in 2 years. Four shows in the Northeast with support from Tommy Alexander will go on sale this Friday. The band has also set a new release date for their first ever live release, “Live, Vol. 1” which is now due out February 25th, 2022.

Originally timed to release around the band’s January California tour, “Live, Vol. 1” was pushed back when Covid forced the band to move their California run back to August. The live album will be preceded by “Above The  Line” a tune penned by Kellen Asebroek and originally included on the band’s 2016 studio release Labor of Love. Asebroek relates: "We've been playing this song for over a decade - it's been a staple of the setlist forever. Different versions of it have been attempted in the studio over the years and eventually it evolved into the version you hear on "Labor of Love", and now on "Live Vol 1". Lyrically it's a song like many songs - someone's gotta leave home and go work, wondering if home will still be there when they come back. In this case it was leaving home to go work on Humboldt cannabis farms to raise money for early Fruition records :)."

“Above The Line” will hit all streaming services on Friday, February 4th, and will be accompanied by a video edited by bassist Jeff Leonard.  The first song from the release, “I Don’t Mind” was released in December and a teaser for “Above The Line” and the full video for “I Don’t Mind” can be viewed HERE.

The band’s next two shows are at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, with support from The Record Company, and DJ Sleepy, and Beaver Creek’s Vilar PAC which will host an evening with the band.

The featured single for today’s release is “Lonesome Prayer (Live At The Visual Arts Collective, Boise, ID” the studio version of which originally appeared on 2018’s Tucker Martine produced Watching It All Fall Apart”.  Written by lead guitarist and vocalist Jay Cobb Anderson, he explains ““Endings can come with a great deal of resentment and anger, or with a sigh of relief. Usually there's a little bit of both if we're honest. But when it's all said and done, all we want for anyone that we love is for them to be happy. Even if it's without us in their lives.”

On the heels of two big weekends at Northwest String Summit, and Sawtooth Valley Gathering, Fruition is pleased to announce their return to Colorado this fall.
The band will be joined by Mama Magnolia at the Belly Up Aspen on September 29th, and by Heavy Diamond Ring (featuring former members of Paper BIrd) at the Boulder Theater on September 30th. The weekend will wrap up with an evening with Fruition at the Lariat in Buena Vista on October 1st.

The band followed up their pre-pandemic album “Wild As the Night, Broken At The Break Of Day” with a digital only live album release “Live - Vol. 1” (recorded in 2019 at the Visual Arts Collective in Boise, ID) and is currently writing new material for an upcoming release.

July has been incredibly busy, with the band ending the month playing two festivals that have been staples of their career thus far. Last weekend marked the final Northwest String Summit, a home town festival that saw the band grow from guerilla campground sets, to late nights and then multiple mainstage slots over the last 13 years. The weekend was filled with regular side projects and collaborative one time only sets with friends. The highlight had to be the heartfelt Mainstage set on Thursday night. A tender yet electric display of the bands material, the 90 minute set stretched from some of the oldest to newest songs in their catalog, with epic sing alongs and a set closing cover of Crosby, Stills and Nashʻs “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”.

Watch Fruition perform “The Meaning” from the final Northwest String Summit

This past weekend was spent at the Sawtooth Valley Gathering, a festival in Stanley Idaho which featured two headlining Fruition sets and even more side projects and sit ins with old and new friends. The Friday night set included their 2014 album “Just One Of Them Nights” played in itʻs entirety on itʻs 9th anniversary.  Saturday included most of “Wild As The Night, Broken At The Break Of Day”, several song debuts, plus sit ins from Anna Moss of Handmade Moments, Lebo of ALO, Anthony DaCosta of Lindsay Lou, Sean Mclean, Sean Badders, Megan Martinez, Liz Chibucos, Tyrone Hendrix, Lisa Sanders and Brown Sugar, Jimmy Russell  and Sydney Nash (of TK & The Holy Know-Nothings). Nash also filled in on bass for Fruition in June when bassist Jeff Leonard was out on Paternity leave.

Speaking of fill ins, July started with a 4 show Northeast run which wrapped up with Fruition playing a raging set at Levitate. After that set  bassist Jeff Leonard was called on to fill in for the festival closing Jack Johnson set and 4 more shows with Johnson in July.  Drummer Tyler Thompson was brought in to fill in for the final 3 Jack shows, while Johnsonʻs band members recovered from Covid.

Next up for the band this month is a hometown headline show at Topaz Farm on Sauvie Island in Portland, OR with special guests Rainbow Girls, and a run through California with Goodnight, Texas that was rescheduled from the start of the pandemic, and for a second time due to a January bout with Covid for the entire band.

Tickets for all newly announced shows will be available at www.fruitionband.com by 10 am MT on Friday

The Fruition family is due to get a little bit larger this year. Drummer Tyler Thompson and his wife Samantha are expecting a new baby this November, and bassist Jeff Leonard and his partner Amelia had a baby daughter earlier this year. With both looking to take some extra paternity time this winter, Fruition’s 3 singers and primary songwriters - Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek and Mimi Naja - will be playing a series of mostly acoustic trio shows in November and December.

The 5 piece band’s sound is a distinct, harmony driven blend of Americana that’s always been motivated by the desire to serve the song. For these 10 mostly acoustic shows, the songs will be placed even more front and center with stripped back accompaniment by guitar, piano and mandolin.  Each night will feature some of the band’s most beloved songs and the stories behind them at some listening rooms built to highlight the songwriter.

The 10 date tour will take them through City Winery venues in DC, Philadelphia, NYC and Boston, and Fairfield’s Stage One in November. December will see the trio visit intimate listening rooms in Seattle, Olympia, Portland, Boise and Salt Lake City. With the full band off the road from Mid October till early 2023, they will forgo their normal New Year’s Eve shows. The full band’s last 4 shows of the year will include a 3 day run in Colorado at the end of the month, and Monterey, CA’s Rebels and Renegades Festival.

The band recently released pro shot footage of their set from this summer’s Levitate Festival which was hosted outside of Boston on their Youtube page and fans can watch it in its entirety here:  https://youtu.be/2IRPbTz3Vy0

Fruition’s full lineup is returning to the road in 2023. While the three singers hit the road for select dates in late 2022, Drummer Tyler Thompson and his wife Samantha welcomed a new baby in November, and bassist Jeff Leonard and his partner Amelia had a baby daughter earlier in the year. With both ready to return to the road, the band is happy to announce new dates to bring them back to the Southeast in March.

The five-piece band’s sound is a distinct, harmony-driven blend of Americana motivated by the desire to serve the song. Trio tour stops in November and December saw Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek and Mimi Naja debut over 15 new songs, rearrangements of fan favorites, and some bustouts from their earliest records.

The five date tour follows a two night stand in Denver, and an appearance on JamCruise. Kicking off with an evening with the band at Pensacola State College’s Lyceum series, the band will then be joined for four shows by guitarist Anthony da Costa (Sarah Jarosz, Joy Williams, Molly Tuttle) who will be touring in support of his new record I Should Call My Mother.

The band will be hitting the studio later this year to begin work on a new album.

On the heels of performing at Cascade Equinox Festival in Bend, OR this past September, Fruition has announced their first full band shows in Portland and Seattle since August of 2022.

The Americana band’s earliest roots were busking in the streets of Portland, working their way up from guerilla sets in the campgrounds of Northwest String Summit to multiple prime mainstage slots, touring with acts like Caamp, The Wood Brothers, and Jack Johnson and appearing on festival stages and classic venues around the country including several appearances at the famed Red Rocks. Along the way, they’ve played nearly every venue in Portland over their 14-year career, and rung in the new year frequently in the Pacific Northwest. This year, the band will mark the turn to 2024 with a 4 show run through Bellingham, Seattle, and Portland, with very special guests Sarah Shook & the Disarmers. In Portland, the band will return to the beloved Wonder Ballroom, a venue that has become a second home to Fruition. The two-night run will feature a 2 set New Year’s Eve show joined on stage by Farnell Newton’s Rose City Horns. In Seattle, they’ll make their first appearance at Neumos and will return to Bellingham for the first time since 2016.

Immediately after releasing January 2020’s “Broken At the Break of Day” (which brought the band their biggest success at AAA and Americana radio to date, and their biggest headline show ever at Denver’s 3900 seat Mission Ballroom) the band was forced with the rest of the world to take an abrupt break from touring. As the pandemic began to ease up, the band returned to touring with new perspective and intention, a couple of newborn babies and a few marriages happily in tow. With 2024 on the horizon, the band has been writing and recording new material, with an eye toward releasing multiple records in the next 18 months.

After the New Year’s run, the band will decamp to a studio with Tucker Martine, with whom they recorded 2018’s presciently titled “Watching It All Fall Apart”.

All four shows will be supported by Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, a band that stalks/walks the line between vulnerable and menacing. Sarah's voice is strong and uneasy; country classic but with a contemporary, earthy tension. Portland royalty and acclaimed trumpeter Farnell Newton (Jill Scott, Bootsy Collins) will bring his "Rose City Horns" to Fruition’s 2 NYE sets, adding a rich layer to Fruition's distinguished harmony-driven Americana sound.

Tickets for all newly announced shows will be available at http://www.fruitionband.com by 10 am PT on FridayUpcoming

Today, California rock band ALO announce the 17th iteration of their annual Tour d’Amour.  After a highly successful run last year in support of their recent studio album “Silver Saturdays”, the band is returning to some of their favorite venues.  The run of shows will begin with a two-night stand in Seattle, a stop at Portland’s Folk Fest, a southern California weekend, a central California trio of shows, and ending w/ a special Bay area weekend in Santa Cruz and San Francisco.   Pacific Northwest duo Sway Wild will support most shows, with the band being joined by the Hot Buttered Rum duo on one of the nights in Seattle, and fan favorite Steve Poltz in San Francisco.

The band has 4 shows remaining in 2023, with stops in Boulder and Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, and Baja Mexico! The band celebrated a California “Halloweekend” with stops in Felton, Ventura and San Juan Capistrano. Audio from those shows should appear on Nugs.net soon.

Last year’s Tour D'Amour received rave reviews from long-time tastemakers like JamBase, Glide Magazine, Santa Barbara Independent and many more. Of the band's Santa Barbara, CA show in March of 2023, Santa Barbara Independent wrote, "ALO can still deliver the fun, especially for a nostalgic crowd whose connections to the band are longstanding and deep-rooted...They hit SOhO with a vengeance." The publication concluded, "The entire show was well worth staying up late for.” Glide Magazine praised the March 25 show at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, stating, "ALO took the stage with their signature positivity and the first song of the set, 'Make It Back Home' from their new release 'Silver Saturdays' hit the spot just right. Everything was on point, tight, and practiced as ever."

Silver Saturdays, the band's bright ninth full-length album celebrates an ongoing journey that began in Saratoga, California in the late eighties when Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (guitar/vocals), Zach Gill (keyboards/vocals) and Steve Adams (bass/vocals) met in grade school. It stands out as the first full-length studio release featuring drummer/vocalist Ezra Lipp—a fixture in the Northern California creative scene where he cut his teeth with the likes of Phil Lesh, Sean Hayes and countless others. Meanwhile, the title nods to the band’s recent penchant for silver attire at their Saturday shows, which became a costume theme amongst their fan base and an acknowledgment of their silver “25th” anniversary. Recorded at Sun Machine studio—nestled in the hills of northern Marin County, CA—the album is a fully collaborative effort written by the band and co-produced alongside longtime engineer David Simon Baker. For Gill, Lebo, Adams and Lipp the session was both a return to their roots and a new beginning – a chance to reconnect and immerse themselves in the creative process. The result is ten new original songs, recorded mostly live, that pay direct homage to the journey and the artistic process and further refine ALO’s singular and self-ascribed “jam-pop” genre—which Lebo fondly describes as “human music for humans.”

Tickets for existing dates are available now, and tickets for the added dates go on sale this Friday, November 3rd  at 10 AM PST via alomusic.com/#tour.

Clay Street Unit, the Denver-based sextet, release their cover of The Last Revel’s tune, “Engine Trouble” today on all platforms. The track was recorded at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO, produced by Chris Pandolfi of The Infamous Stringdusters, mixed by Sean Sullivan (Sturgill Simpson, Molly Tuttle) and mastered by Anna Frick at ally sound. Earlier this year, the band recorded a brand new album with Pandolfi at the helm and chose this long time live staple to get dialed in to the studio. While the song wonʻt be on the upcoming record, the results were too good not to release. Their debut full length album will be released later this year.

The band is rooted deep in homegrown southern Country/Folk and branches into the bluegrass sound that’s heard throughout the Appalachian hills. With just a 4 track self released EP out until today, the band is making considerable strides in their career on the strength of powerful songs and an undeniable live show. Clay Street Unit’s touring calendar is filling up with multiple notable festivals including WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat and Tahoe, Blue Ox, Rooster Walk, Beaufort, The Caverns Sessions in Pelham, TN and more tour dates soon to be announced.

Their first show of the year is tomorrow at Mission Ballroom, opening for The Infamous Stringdusters along with Lindsay Lou. Fans can expect a few sit-ins, given the recent studio collaborations.

After ringing in a new year with a 4 show run in Washington State and Portland, OR, Fruition is pleased to announce their first headline shows of 2024. The Hard To Make Money Tour will see the band visit venues in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, California and Arizona.  The band has been hard at work writing and recording new music for future release, with some of those new songs finding their way into setlists for these newly announced shows.

The first of the new songs is out everywhere today. “Hard To Make Money” (Listen Here), the namesake track of the upcoming tour written by Jay Cobb Anderson  features lyrics that touch on the feeling that for most, itʻs just hard to get by while others have more than they might need.  “yeah some folks take it, some work to make it, and some folks just got good luck/but the poor stay needy while rich stay greedy and they never seem to give a buck/and it’s hard to make money these days “

"There’s too much not-enough going round, and that’s all we seem to get. The American dream’s been sentenced to death by the powers that be. Bees make honey and it never goes bad. Man makes money and it’s never gets better. And it’s hard to make money these days." - Jay Cobb Anderson

Fruitionʻs March dates will feature opener Willy Tea Taylor, who is touring in support of his latest album The Great Western Hangover which features appearances from Fruitionʻs Jay Cobb Anderson on guitar, and production work from Fruition drummer Tyler Thompson.

Support for May shows will be announced soon.

Fruition's three-part harmonies and impromptu performances captivated crowds on street corners and in campgrounds in the Pacific Northwest initially, but their remarkable 15-year journey has seen them emerge as a singular force in the world of Americana on some of the nation's biggest stages. Channeling the delicate, playful, and honest focus on songcraft and vocal harmony of groups like the Beatles and CSNY, the band continues to create timeless and genuine folk, roots, and rock 'n roll.

Distinguished by three accomplished songwriters and a rhythm section that serves each song with a finely tuned attention to detail and aesthetic, Fruition manages to consistently release a body of work that is both uniquely their own and instantly familiar.

Tickets for all newly announced shows will be available at http://www.fruitionband.com 10am PT on Friday, February 9th.

Fruition is releasing their 2nd new single of the year today with “Feeling Weird,” following up the February track “Hard To Make Money.” The Hard To Make Money Tour kicks off next week with the band visiting venues in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Minnesota, After a short break for a festival in Mexico in April, the band will return to the road in May to visit Oregon, California, and Arizona, which now includes a newly announced show in Mariposa, CA.  The band has been hard at work writing and recording new music over the past year, with some of those new songs finding their way into setlists for these upcoming shows.

The second of the new songs is out everywhere today and can be heard here.

Songwriter and lead vocalist on the single Kellen Asebroek offers:

"ʻFeeling Weirdʻ is a bit of a Fruition deep-cut. We've had it in our back pocket for over a decade now and I think the lyrical content kinda reflects that; a youthful mix of silliness and melancholy. Born literally from a hungover van-ride after a long night of partying, back in the days where we would sleep on the floors and couches of whoever was brave enough to host a whole pack of road-dogs.

Even though on the surface the song says ʻwoe is meʻ, it also has *just* enough emotional maturity to recognize that the problems and troubles I was experiencing were of my own doing - and that it would be my own responsibility to course-correct them. Lastly, I styled this tune to be a nod to the great comical-yet-heartbroken tradition of folk songwriters like John Prine and John Hartford. Because after all, life has a tendency to often be comically heartbreaking, doesn't it?”

Fruitionʻs March dates feature opener Willy Tea Taylor, who is touring in support of his latest album The Great Western Hangover which features appearances from Fruitionʻs Jay Cobb Anderson on vocal harmonies, and production work from Fruition drummer Tyler Thompson.

In addition to the newly announced show at Mariposaʻs Grove House, support for May shows will be announced soon.
