Kenny Loggins

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival stands as a radiant beacon of America's diverse musical scene. This multifaceted gathering represents an immersive journey across the musical map of America and beyond. Describing its innumerable treasures can prove daunting, as there is a veritable banquet of sound that is impossible to fully consume, let alone encapsulate in a single piece. But in attempting to relay the highlights of the 2023 festival's first weekend, one must reconcile with the abundance of excellence presented.

Celebrating a career that has seen him perform his ever-growing catalog of smash hit songs across the globe for nearly six decades, legendary music superstar Kenny Loggins announced a third round of dates for his final concert tour titled “This Is It”. The tour kicked off on March 10 at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, FL, and will continue throughout 2023.

New dates include:

August 3 – Sugar Land, TX – Smart Financial Center*

August 5 – Austin, TX – Moody Amphitheater*

Kenny Loggins brought his tour to the Saban Theatre on Friday, January 20th. Coming just four months after his two headlining appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, the show was billed as being part of his At the Movies tour, with a focus on the songs that are forever linked with 1980s film classics such as Caddyshack and Top Gun.

Pop icon Kenny Loggins is enjoying the resurgence of his 1986 hit “Danger Zone.” The track was featured in the original Top Gun soundtrack and makes another appearance in Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick (May 2022). Top Gun: Maverick is the sequel to the 1986 blockbuster and has grossed $282 million at the box office worldwide, the largest opening in history for a Memorial Day weekend release.

‘Jake & Friends’ – the upcoming album from the acclaimed Hawai’i-born ‘ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro – features a who’s who of music royalty, so it’s only fitting that Shimabukuro release not one, but two new singles from the album today, with artists as diverse as Jack Johnson, Paula Fuga, and Kenny Loggins.

Kenny Loggins, one of pop music’s greatest hit makers, has released an all-new version of his Top Gun soundtrack hit song "Playing with the Boys" featuring singer-songwriter Butterfly Boucher.

The new track is also featured on At The Movies (Legacy), Loggins' June 12th Record Store Day exclusive vinyl which includes some of his career-spanning soundtrack hits on the same album for the first time ever.

On the third and final day of this year's Fest Forums in Santa Barbara a small army of celebrities turned up for the celebration. It was a full day of films, lectures, food, wine tasting, and great live music. The morning got off to a sleepy start as vendors began closing the exhibit hall and the early birds to the convention sipped coffee and ate fresh fruit and pastries.

When the collection of talent present in Blue Sky Riders finds itself under the roof of the Boulder Theater, you make sure you get a seat (literally, it was a seated event). While their story is one of chance, their music is no leap of faith.

Z2 Entertainment is proud to present Blue Sky Riders at the Boulder Theater on Sunday, January 19th, 2014.  Tickets are on sale today for $30.00 - $35.00 reserved and $45 gold circle. The creative spark that eventually evolved into Blue Sky Riders was struck when two veteran singer/songwriters worked on their first song together.
