Today, The Nth Power proudly announces their partnership with the live music streaming and download platform, nugs.net, with live recordings streaming now. The acclaimed trio, whose studio album Reverence made the first-round list of 2022 Grammy nominations, today released 12 archival sets that reveal the progression of The Nth Power’s songs and lineups across nearly a decade of incendiary live performances – from their debut show as a band in 2012 to their first post-pandemic concert in 2021.

Hand-picked by longtime bandmates Nikki Glaspie, Nick Cassarino and Nate Edgar, the curated archives showcase former members Nigel Hall, Weedie Braimah and Courtney Smith, as well as special guests like beloved keyboardist Kofi Burbridge (to whom The Nth Power's new album is dedicated), legendary New Orleans percussionist Bill Summers and Jennifer Hartswick and James Casey of Trey Anastasio Band.

In a video posted to the band’s socials this afternoon, Glaspie said: “I’m super happy to be releasing this music to you guys today – the evolution of The Nth Power. Man, it brought up so many memories and just confirmed something that we already knew. We always give a thousand percent whenever we perform, write songs or put shows together, and we believe that it can be heard in these archived shows. So download the app, go to nugs.net and check it out. The Nth Power loves you.”

Their landing page, nugs.net/TheNthPower, offers a 30-day free trial offer for fans who want to listen to the newly released live volumes. Anyone already subscribed to nugs.net can login straight into the app and listen now. Highlights from today's launch include:

• November 2012 – The Nth Power’s first official gig ever at The Blue Nile while in New Orleans to record their EP, Basic Minimum Skills Test. You can hear the group working out some of their earliest versions of “Only You” and “Only Love."

• November 2014 – Their triumphant return to Bear Creek Music Festival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, where The Nth Power performed their first-ever festival set the previous year. The park's Amphitheatre Stage is sacred place for the band to perform, and this set showcases the band’s formidable "OG" touring lineup with Nigel Hall and Weedie Braimah.

• May 2016 – A murderous set from their time with new addition Courtney Smith as the band opened for Turkuaz for a string of shows that year. The set features a unique arrangement of “I Want You She So Heavy” by the Beatles.

• March 2018 – One of the group’s landmark tours as a trio. Early versions of “Joy” and “I Will Never Leave You” from their then-unreleased sophomore album, Reverence, are unveiled live from the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California.

• June 2018 – An abundance of special guests join The Nth Power for a very special Steely Dan tribute at Nectar's in Burlington, Vermont, including keyboardist Kofi Burbridge and a horns section comprised of trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and saxophonists David Grippo and Brian McNamara.

• July 2021 – After a 18 months away from the stage, The Nth Power performs live for the first time since the start of the pandemic in this emotional, raw experience at Peachfest in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The Nth Power also plans to release additional archives to the nugs.net platform in the coming weeks and months, including tribute sets from some of their most memorable ensemble performances to date. They will also drop regular live sets from the road as the band tours in support of their sophomore studio album, Reverence (released independently Sept. 29, 2021 and distributed by The Orchard), which is currently in consideration for the 2022 Grammy Awards nominations and garnered airplay from Sirius XM.
