ALO is heading east. Known for their annual Tour D’Amour of California and the Pacific Northwest, ALO has heard their fans’ requests and are heading east for two big weekends this fall. First up the band will be visiting New York, Philadelphia, D.C., Boston and Pawling, NY. in October. November will feature a visit to Colorado’s front range for shows in Boulder and Denver where the band will be joined by fellow Californians Tea Leaf Green.

Grace Potter and Higher Ground Music announced today that Jackson Browne and Ani DiFranco have been added to the lineup for the 2018 Grand Point North music festival, set to take place September 15th and 16th at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park. Single day tickets are now on sale for $59. Two-day passes remain available for just $89.
From the state that gave us presidential primaries, summer camps, the US’s largest arcade and ice fishing, now can lay claim to delivering the amazingly funkadelic band, Harsh Armadillo. Harsh Armadillo is a seven-piece blue Gatorade fueled band, that has no affiliation with the state of Texas and has never encountered a wild armadillo. They digitally drop their third release and first EP, BITE, on June 15.

The eighth Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival will be held on the Green in Morristown, New Jersey on Saturday, August 18, from noon until 10:00 p.m. The annual free concert is made possible by the generous support of many sponsors who are well-known in the region.
Barenaked Ladies has embarked on their "Last Summer on Earth" 2018 tour in support of their new release "Fake Nudes." Of which they played a number of the new tracks: "The Township of King," "Bringing it Home," "Canada Dry," "20/20 Hindsight", and "We Took The Night."
Night two, “One More Saturday Night” at Citi Field is in the books! Very lucky to have attended both shows. The weather was spectacular on this second night of the two-night run at the ballpark. The Dead & Company 2018 Summer tour is in full swing and at the halfway point. I have been following Dead & Company since their inception and witnessing what I see as an evolution.
Funk powerhouse Turkuaz is marking the summer solstice by sharing a new live video of their song “Percy Thrills, The Moondog”, orginailly off of the band’s latest full-length release ‘Digitinonium’. The performance comes from their December 30, 2017 concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT, a show that helped encapsulate a mighty touring year for the band including live debuts at Red Rocks, Bonnaroo, and more.
After a colossal performance at Summer Camp, Grateful Web’s June Reedy Jameson got to sit down with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s Greg Ormont. At Summer Camp they took the stage to a huge double rainbow that seemed to intensify as they played. Continuing the magical streak, they will play Red Rocks for their first time with Moe on July 12th.
Saturday, June 9th, the third day of Bonnaroo 2018 dawned warm and sunny. As the morning sunshine transformed into sweltering afternoon concertgoers flocked to shady spots and the Centeroo fountain to cool down any way they could. The hottest day of the festival was also the most crowded, with cars full of new festival goers pouring in all day long. Despite two days of nonstop partying many in the crowd were still in an eager and festive mood and most of the entertainment venues began to fill up by the afternoon.

The band then decided to pump up the energy with some more amazing covers such as “Scent Of A Mule” and “Psycho Killer”. Soon after, the band did a wild mashup of “Wish You Were Here” and David Bowie’s “Space Oddity”. Blending the two songs flawlessly, Pink Talking Fish once again proved their talent in recreating classics and making it their own. Special Guests Charlie Humphreys and Matt Goldberg from Dead Floyd joined Pink Talking Fish to cover Phish’s song “Sand” as well as “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd.
