Instrument makers from around New England will be front and center at this year’s Lowell Folk Festival celebrating the art & craft that goes into making the unique sounds that come from the Festival’s world class musical performers.  Known for its eclectic blend of music, food and art, the 35th Anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival returns in person July 29-31.

The inaugural, three-day Bluegrass festival dubbed CROWE FEST is set for August 25, 26 and 27. The event celebrates the legendary banjo picker and Grammy Award-winner J.D. Crowe, whose fearless bending of the genre introduced new listeners to Bluegrass. The Fest will be held at Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park in Clay City, Kentucky - just 40 miles from Crowe’s Lexington birthplace.

California-based artist J Boog and Hawaiian-based group The Green join forces at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on Saturday, July 30, for their first Las Vegas show of the year. Known for their immersive mix of reggae, rock, and hip-hop music, the co-headliners will bring a night filled with upbeat sounds and good vibes to the heart of downtown.

Psychedelic rock juggernauts Futurebirds reunited with guitarist/producer Carl Broemel from My Morning Jacket on their new EP, Bloomin’ Too. Today, they are releasing their first single, “Buffet Days” off the seven-track EP, which is coming September 9th on No Coincidence Records

Sour Magic is a psychedelic indie rock band formed in 2021 by Jay Waldrop (drums), Drew Morse (bass), Jonny Nasi (keys), Mauro Hernandez (guitar), and Kyle Osmun (vocals). The group quickly developed a diverse sound and an eclectic collection of songs. Having an array of different influences and a love for many genres, they stir up blues, funk, dance, surf, and post-rock with their smooth yet striking vocals into an intoxicating brew of psychedelic splendor.

Acclaimed musicians Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are set to play an intimate concert at the newly renovated state of the art Guild Theatre on Tuesday, August 16. All proceeds from the concert will go to the musician’s foundation, The Marigold Project, supporting issues of economic, racial and social justice.

‘Funhouse Mirror’, the fifth full length album release by Danish rock band Vinyl Floor (formed in 2007), sees the band returning to the experimental and symphonic expression as found on the earlier albums ‘Peninsula’ (2012) and ‘Vaudeville’ (2014). The band, together with the Swedish producer Emil Isaksson, recorded the basic tracks live at Studio Möllan in Malmö, Sweden during the summer of 2021 and did all the overdubbing and vocals at their own studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.
