Day three is when the magic happens at festivals and this year was no exception at the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pa. The weather behaved for the most part, which allowed the schedule to blossom with creativity. Trey Anastasio Band, Goose and The Revivalists were the headliners on the Peach Stage.

Three women – modern, creative, and talented – are stretching the boundaries of old-time country and western swing music. The best part? They are doing it steadfastly, free of frivolous fanfare. We’re talking about neo-traditionalist western swing trio the Quebe Sisters – siblings Grace, Sophia, and Hulda.

Join us for an evening celebrating the life and music of Michael Tiernan “Mikee T”, who was an incredibly talented musician, touring with The Motet for many years, and with his own bands, The Peaceful Warriors, Jersey Fresh, and 42 Main Street Delicatessen Band, among others. This concert was put together to honor his music and to raise funds for his son, Kinsman Tiernan. Kinsman is an aspiring musician who has played the drums since before he could even walk. Kinsman wants to study music and engineering in college.

Django’s unmistakable cool and jumpin’ jole de vivre have made him an icon for an unlikely range of luminaries from Carlos Santana to Eric Clapton, guitar greats! Jimi Hendrix named his “big band of gypsies” in tribute, and Willie Nelson adopted his influence in “country-swing.”

San Diego band Mrs. Henry is excited to announce their project Chest Fever, a tribute to legendary rock group The Band, and will be touring and performing songs from the legendary Rock of Ages live album to celebrate its 50th Anniversary this year.
