Four-time Grammy-Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett is a Texas legend and one of the most beloved and compelling artists in popular music. Across his extensive career—which has produced fourteen albums spanning multiple genres and earned him a host of awards and accolades including the landmark Americana Music Association’s Trailblazer Award—Lovett has solidified himself as one of music’s most iconic performers over his storied, nearly four-decade long career.

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has added Tony Trischka’s EarlJam: A Tribute to Earl Scruggs, Le Vent du Nord, and Missy Raines and Allegheny to its jam-packed 2024 lineup. Returning to the idyllic grounds of Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, NY, July 17-21, the 24th installment of the beloved bluegrass gathering promises an unforgettable weekend featuring a treasure trove of first-time guests as well as familiar Grey Fox veterans.

“I first met Molly Tuttle at Shasta Camp in northern California,” recalls banjo master and ringleader of the upcoming Earl Jam: A Tribute To Earl Scruggs, Tony Trischka. “There were three banjo teachers, myself and two others, and there was only one banjo student, Molly Tuttle.” It wasn’t long before Trischka invited Tuttle to be part of his Of A Winter’s Night holiday show where the group recorded an album by the same name at Levon Helm’s Barn in Woodstock, New York.

The 32nd Annual Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is thrilled to announce its initial lineup for the summer's most awaited event, taking place from July 18th to 21st, 2024, in the picturesque Trumansburg, NY.

AEG Presents just announced a terrific evening of music with OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW and MOLLY TUTTLE & GOLDEN HIGHWAY, set to perform live at Dillon Amphitheater on June 21, 2024.

The International Folk Music Awards – presented by Folk Alliance International (FAI), a 501(c)3 and the foremost global nonprofit for folk music— took place last night as part of the opening of the conference and Best of 2023 awards were won by Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway (Album of the Year); Billy Strings (Artist of the Year); and Iris Dement (Song of the Year). NPR Music and World Cafe live-streamed the awards show.

Last night's Grammy Awards showcased a dazzling array of talent across genres, with a particular spotlight on the realms of Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues, and Folk. Grateful Web is excited to highlight the achievements within these musical genres, celebrating the artists who continue to enrich our sonic landscape with their creativity and depth.

Switching buses from Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, Kyle Tuttle is now embarking on a solo journey with his latest album, Labor of Lust. This 11-track achievement pays homage to the jamgrass lore built on the shoulders of jamgrass giants like Leftover Salmon and Yonder Mountain String Band. Kyle Tuttle has traversed the miles while maintaining his studio musician status in Nashville.

The eagerly awaited 2024 edition of the 4848 Festival, presented by All Good Presents, is set to take place from July 18-20 at the scenic Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia. This year, the festival promises to return bigger and stronger while unveiling an impressive lineup of artists.  All Good Presents is set to create an unforgettable experience, combining the thrill of live music with the relaxation of a mountain resort.
