Sweetwater Music Hall, located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941 (phone: 415-388-3850), is thrilled to announce its upcoming lineup of live music and special events. A registered 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization, Sweetwater Music Hall has been a cherished cultural destination since its founding in 1972. We present all genres of music, and shows are open to all ages and are generally standing-room only (unless otherwise noted). Doors open one hour prior to show time.

The Lil Smokies’ high-energy acoustic music has evolved into its own distinctive sound. With a nearly five-year gap from their last album, 2020’s Tornillo, the band returns with two new members, bassist Jean Luc Davis and banjo player, Sam Armstrong-Zickefoose, to add to the core trio of dobro player and Montana native Andy Dunnigan, Seattle-based lead guitarist the Reverend Matthew Rieger, and fiddler Jake Simpson, now dividing his time between Montana and Oklahoma.

Prolific New Orleans bassist George Porter Jr., has released a brand new instrumental album entitled Porter’s Pocket with his longstanding quartet the Runnin’ Pardners available today via Color Red. Porter Jr. is joined by his longtime collaborator keyboardist Michael Lemmler (Jubilation, TriFunctA), drummer Terrence Houston (The Funky Meters, Toubab Krewe), and newest member Chris Adkins (Raphael Saadiq, Mark Broussard) on guitar.

Two of music’s most respected songwriters and artists, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Brandy Clark, will join forces for a special tour kicking off this summer.
