We are so happy to announce the initial 2019 Campout lineup. This year brings some first-time artists to the community like Billy Strings, plus returning bands like The California Honeydrops and Troutsteak Revival.

DelFest announces the 2019 Late Night lineup which starts Thursday with An Evening with Billy Strings (2 sets) and concludes on Sunday with The DelFest Chaser, a set hosted by recent “Best Bluegrass Album” Grammy winners, The Travelin’ McCourys, joined by longtime comrade, Sam Bush + surprise guests. New this year by popular demand, headliners Yonder Mountain String Band (Friday night) and Railroad Earth (Saturday night) will perform first followed by supporting acts, Larry Keel Experience (Friday) and Joe Craven and The Sometimers (Saturday).

As spring approaches, the excitement builds as folks of all ages make plans to gather at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida to continue a beloved festival tradition that features a range of music genres rooted in original music – Americana: Bluegrass, Newgrass, Folk, Singer/Songwriter, Blues, and more. Literally something for everyone! The gorgeous park with its mossy live oak laden grounds host the 3rd Annual Suwannee Spring Reunion, taking place Thursday through Sunday, March 21-24, 2019.

John Mailander is skilled at crafting a story through music.  His latest release, “Forecast” has been a Godsend piece of mana in my playlist this winter. Something about this disc hit me at the right time and place.  This winter has been such a baptism of tribulation, the tempo matches my soul. It gives me peace and hope for carrying on through the ice. I don’t mind the cold.

As an alternative to the campout festival, the inaugural 4848 Festival is offering festival lovers an evolved summer experience. Taking place July 11 - 13 atop Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV (at 4848’ above sea level), patrons get everything a festival has to offer, while experiencing premier accommodations within the resort’s Mountain Village, complete with modern amenities atypical to a three-day summer festival.

4848 Festival performing artists include:

Greensky Bluegrass (two nights)

Luck Reunion, the flagship festival of Luck Productions, is pleased to announce the 2019 lineup for the annual event taking place at Willie Nelson’s “Luck, TX” on Thursday, March 14th. Along with presenting sponsor Southwest, the boutique collective unveiled the diverse artist roster as part of the Lucky Draw Live ticketing event hosted at the iconic Cactus Cafe and presented in partnership with KUTX.

Bluegrass royalty, Del McCoury Band, will headline the 15th Aiken Bluegrass Festival on May 10th & 11th in Aiken, SC. The two-time GRAMMY winner, celebrating his 80th birthday this year, is at the top of a bill that brings the three-stage festival back to the roots of bluegrass, while simultaneously celebrating the bright future of the genre. The full lineup includes red-hot Billy Strings, Keller Williams’ string band collaboration, Keller and the Keels, the 14th ABF appearance of Larry Keel Experience, hard-driving Horses

Greensky Bluegrass has been busy winding their way through a huge winter tour and tending to their new baby, studio album All for Money, released on January 18. This tour has featured three different opening acts, a fun treat for fans that will see multiple shows. Some of us in Boston knew we wouldn’t want to miss a Wednesday at the House of Blues with Billy Strings warming up and we sure did need warming up, with snow squalls and frigid temperatures sweeping through at show time.
