MerleFest, presented by Window World, has just added another huge list of performers to its already stacked 2023 lineup—which featured headliners like The Avett Brothers and Maren Morris.

In the words of “Tripe Face Boogie,” Little Feat has been inviting folks to boogie their sneakers away for a good long while….and the sneakers haven’t worn out yet.  The band is pleased to announce their Spring 2023 tour…and we guarantee the shows will generate all the boogie you can stand.

Who doesn’t love choice? With two dozen live performances on three stages, a popular 4,400-square-foot dance floor, and food from Thailand to Narragansett Bay, Rhythm & Roots offers up the options.

Little Feat is the classic example of a fusion of many styles and musical genres made into something utterly distinctive.  Their brilliant  musicianship transcends boundaries, uniting California rock, funk, folk, jazz, country, rockabilly, and New Orleans swamp boogie into a rich gumbo, that has been leading people in joyful dance ever since.

For over 50 years Hot Tuna, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, have brought a wealth of emotions to their music through deep perceptions and tremendous talent.  Members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy recipients they are always injecting fresh energy into their sound with constant improvisation taking their musical horizons further.  They are going out on tour playing out west with Little Feat. Jorma and Jack will have their drummer, Justin Guip, on his "aoustic set" of drums.

The 24th Rhythm & Roots Music, Dance and Food Festival kicks off with a New Orleans party of musical styles followed by traditionalists, little-known talent, fan favorites and new interpreters of the ever-expanding definition of roots music.
