Z2 Entertainment is proud to present Perpetual Groove at the Fox Theatre on Friday, December 7^th. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 3^rd for $13.00 in advance and $15.00 day of show.

Perpetual Groove have unveiled the dates for their “Fend For Your Life” fall 2012 Tour. Following a busy spring and festival season, the band hits the road with dates throughout the East Coast and Colorado, plus 2-night runs in Charleston, Boston and New York.

Dark Star Orchestra's latest update to their Dark Star Jubilee is the addition of 5 more bands to the already Jubilous lineup - Great American Taxi featuring Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon, The Ragbirds,

Perpetual Groove has been a staple of the Jamband scene for almost 15 years now. Their studio recordings have been received with success, but it is really their live shows and dedicated fans that have kept P-Groove on top of the scene and riding that momentum into their sophomore decade. Based out of Athens Georgia, P-Groove has achieved international success and are staples of the festival world.

The worst of the heat lost its tight grip on the weekend very early Sunday morning.

The funky, jammy, L.A. based Underground Orchestra proved to be a good start to the music of the weekend before the chaos started. Anthony Rogers-Wright proved to be an entertaining bassist and just one component of this group. Sam Feldman plays the mandolin, which I love, so this group had an instant in.

This entire trip ranks up there with one of the biggest adventures I've had to date.

Many musicians who stage their very existence through live art seem to have trouble rolling over that passion into studio projects.  The atmosphere changes drastically, and for many can stifle the creative process.  However, those who embrace this medium can translate very well and generally reward the listener with real substance.
