Rising sibling duo The Ries Brothers (Charlie and Kevin Jordan Ries) have released their new single “Strange Times” through Symphonic Records ahead of an appearance at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta this weekend (catch them Sunday 5/7 on the Ponce De Leon Stage at 2pm ET). The track showcases the duo’s heavier side and lyrically, it’s a release of the frustration we’ve all had over the last couple of years.

Graber Gryass, a collective of musicians from Memphis, has put out an album that's far from your standard bluegrass fare. Their latest release, entitled Waking Up, boasts a peculiar and offbeat character that's hard to pin down. When asked about the inspiration behind the new album, guitarist and vocalist, Michael Graber, shared that the band aimed to push the boundaries even further with Waking Up. "We wanted to stay song-centered, but we also wanted to explore new sounds and styles," he said.

Goose descended into the Bay Area on April 27, 2023 for an inspired show at the storied Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, CA, where the Grateful Dead played 15 shows and Jerry played 88 shows. This self-described indie jam band from Connecticut has been turning heads around the country as they continue to flourish and unleash original music with raging jams. This show included plenty of this, as well as a pair of notable covers.
Today Peter Lewis of the legendary Moby Grape shares “Frank Zappa’s Ghost,” a jazzy, trippy nightmare from his upcoming album Imagination, out June 16th.
“That was one of those songs that came to me in a dream. What I woke up hearing was the hook; In other words, the part(s) where I sing “Franks Zappa's Ghost” with the underlying chords. The rest was pretty much crafted. The idea of adding “the right of spring section” as a bridge was to bring in an ethereal (contrasting) mood to the arrangement, like something Zappa might do.” – Peter Lewis

The Grateful Dead is back for the highly anticipated annual event “Meet-Up At The Movies” screening in select territories worldwide on June 22 and 24. Presented by Trafalgar Releasing and Rhino Entertainment, this year’s event is the Dead’s first ever concert at Chicago’s Soldier Field on June 22, 1991, from the original six-camera stadium video feed with pristine soundboard audio.
