A new, 2-disc digipack release from Carl Palmer, perhaps the most highly rated drummer in the world alive today and sole surviving member of prog rock giants Emerson, Lake & Palmer, will be released by BMG on 29th June 2018. Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy Live encompasses two outstanding Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy shows captured on CD and DVD and presented in a deluxe booklet with sleeve notes by Carl Palmer.

Combsy – the solo project of Chris Combs, guitarist of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey – will hit the road this May and June in support of their self-titled debut LP (Horton Records) which was released in late 2017.  The band won’t stray too far from their hometown of Tulsa with shows in Nashville, Little Rock, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Montrose CO, Denver and Santa Fe.

Last Saturday, Melvin Seals & JGB continued a now-tradition established in the last couple years of playing the legendary Warfield Theatre in Downtown San Francisco.

North Coast Music Festival has announced the full lineup for its ninth edition, returning to Union Park in Chicago, Illinois on August 31 through September 2, 2018. The fully immersive three-day festival will welcome Coasties to experience and discover dance music, hip-hop and rock-bands across four curated stages.

THE POP ENTHUSIASM OF MISTERWIVES

New York City based MisterWives played an early evening show on Sunday at the Beale Street Music Festival, a day that was a complete sellout.  Lead vocalist Mandy Lee clearly enjoyed playing to the young and enthusiastic crowd, jumping around as she sang .  The band performed most of their best known songs, including "Machine," "Drummer Boy," "Coloring Outside the Lines," and "Reflections."

Tav Falco & the Panther Burns is a legendary band who is relatively unknown outside of Memphis.  They played the first set on Saturday afternoon on the Bud Light Stage at the Beale Street Music Festival as part of their "Conamination" tour - what a treat it was, for both long-time fans who were happy to see their heroes again, and for the curious who had no knowledge about the band.

Wilderado are two men from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and two men from Dallas, Texas, who formed their band in Los Angeles three years ago. Their melodic set featured two and three-part harmonies and a solid rhythm section, with some of their music reminiscent of Judah & the Lion.

The Drunken Hearts, Colorado’s eclectic Americana rock band, announce today a full Spring and Summer North American tour in support of their newly released album, The Prize.
