Bear Creek Music & Art Festival has added headlining artist Chris Robinson’s Soulive Revue. This one-time-only collaboration will feature Black Crowes/Chris Robinson Brotherhood singer Chris Robinson with Soulive (Eric Krasno, Alan Evans and Neal Evans), The Shady Horns (Eric Bloom and Ryan Zoidis) and several very special guests.

I can hardly believe it’s almost October – it seems it was just a few weeks ago YMSB’s Harvest Music Festival 2013 was playing its final notes. This year, The Jayhawks are slated for an IOU performance they missed last year. Also on the lineup are festival namesakes Yonder Mountain String Band – they’re playing with Jerry Douglas this year in lieu of Jeff Austin leaving the band. Trampled by Turtles is playing, as well as Papa Mali, Elephant Revival, Shook Twins and many other great bands.

A year ago, Planet Bluegrass was in shambles. The North St. Vrain Creek, which carves a path along the venue’s northern and eastern borders, overflowed during a torrential downpour that lasted nearly a full week in mid-September. The 2013 Colorado Flood created a state of emergency in 14 counties and hit especially hard in Lyons. The town’s crown gem, which hosts the annual RockyGrass and Folks Festivals, was submerged under four feet of water.

I’m searching for phrases to describe Phases of the Moon Music & Art Festival.  It began as a dark side of the moon, but that was just a phase.  As an audience, our hackles were already up, howling at the moon before the weekend ever arrived.  Through no fault of the Phases organizers, RatDog had to cancel their appearance.  Bobby Weir’s lightening is lazy.

Riot Fest exploded with a bang, and the fast action, hard hitting, rock festival tore it up in the Mile High City. On the grounds of Sports Authority Stadium at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos, the festival kicked off its first night with its best lineup of the weekend. Taking public transportation was the way to go because there were a lot of people to add to the regular Friday traffic in the city.

When it’s January in Florida, that means it’s time for the annual Sunshine Music and Blues Festival to bring some great music to the state.  And this year promises to be the biggest and best yet!  Once again headlined by the award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band  the 2015 Sunshine Music & Blues Festival features our best line-up yet of exciting acts on two live music stages along with a wider array of refreshing craft beers and delectable menus from a wider variety of food vend

Near capacity crowds flocked to Waterfront Park in Burlington, Vermont on September 13th and 14th for the 4th annual Grand Point North Music Festival presented by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. Grand Point North Festival featured two full days of continuous music on side-by-side stages along with Grand Point Local, a celebration of local restaurants and food purveyors, and Grand Point Weird,  the artistic component to the festival curated by Charlotte Potter.

AURA Music & Arts Festival has announced the addition of iconic jamband moe. to the already impressive 2015 line-up making this the biggest year yet for the homegrown music festival. Taking place at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida March 6 - 8, moe.

Riot Fest will be held at Mile High Stadium this year, and Denver is lucky enough to be one of the three cities picked to have these talented and eclectic bands play in our area.

In 2005, Riot Fest booked a multi-venue weekend of punk and rock in Chicago with bands such as Dead Kennedys, The Misfits, and The Bouncing Souls kicking things off. They even had ticket giveaways on their sweet Myspace page, and since then have been working hard every year to bring you the best fest they can.

The Second Lockn' Festival that went down last weekend in Arrington, Virginia, in the surrounding foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, was a cut above the rest for plenty of reasons. Aside from the high quality production put on by promoters, creating a lavish experience for even the most seasoned of festivalgoers, it really was the caliber of musicians on the bill that drew tens of thousands from all over the country.
