In an unexpected twist at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, Primus turned a potential disaster into a stroke of rock 'n' roll luck. Coming off of a two-night sold-out run at Red Rocks in Colorado along their Sessanta Tour with Puscifer and A Perfect Circle, the band faced a new challenge when a snowstorm stranded their gear.

In a celebratory return to his roots, the legendary bassist Les Claypool has announced the Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years Box Set, slated for release on February 9th. Spanning the illustrious and eclectic moments of his solo career, this compilation is a tribute to the dynamic range of musical avenues Claypool has explored over the years.

Sessanta, an untraditional tour that sees Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and Primus joining forces, and sharing band members, is slated for April of 2024.

The Western U.S. outing is a resurrection, and expansion, of the 2014 Los Angeles event, Cinquanta, which was originally a one-time only celebration. Much like that fabled evening, which commemorated Maynard James Keenan’s landmark 50th birthday, Sessanta celebrates the Puscifer and A Perfect Circle frontman as he turns 60.

Over the years Claypool has embarked on many wild, weird and wonderful endeavors that take the audience along on his creative quest of goodness through his musical mind. That in itself is a remarkable undertaking since everything he does and his many collaborations are all much different in many respects.
