In September, Turkuaz welcomed their fifth studio effort, Life In The City, a nine-track LP inclusive of singles "Superstatic," "If I Ever Fall Asleep" and the sensational title track, "Life In The City." Given that the recording process spanned from 2016 to 2018, it comes as no surprise there are additional tracks to share from the same time period. Today, Turkuaz has announced the Afterlife EP pair, with Vol. 1 available now:

They’ve become one of Brooklyn’s freshest exports – nine charismatic men and women brightly outfitted to have their colorful nature match their expressive voice.

Energetic splashes of funk, alternative, rock, R&B, and psychedelia color the music of Turkuaz. Balancing male-female harmonies, strutting guitars, wild horn arrangements, and interminable grooves, this spirit takes shape in the color donned by each respective member on stage nightly via larger-than-life performances.

Yesterday, powerhouse nonet Turkuaz debuted their brand new video for "Superstatic" exclusively on Facebook. The song comes from last year's studio record, Life In The City, and was shot in the band's hometown of Brooklyn, NY at the borough's famed venue, Brooklyn Bowl.

Last night, Turkuaz debuted a bluegrass-inspired version of "Life In The City," a single from last year's album of the same name. It was recorded during a recent Sugarshack Session in Miami: https://youtu.be/DyHKjQsqk2E

This past Saturday, the Williamsburg area in downtown New York City returned with one of its most anticipated musical events of the year, Brooklyn Comes Alive. Across three music venues, The Brooklyn Bowl, Rough Trade, and Music Hall of Williamsburg, over fifty musicians jammed, sang, and tributed together in fifteen sets of unique, supergroup type fashion.

Attention Turkuaz Nation! On Friday, September 7, we will be performing and FILMING a very special concert at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA.  This evening with the band will feature TWO sets of Turkuaz including classic favorites, as well as new material!  You do not want to miss this!

Once again, paths to music, wonder, and joyful celebration converged in early July at the four-day High Sierra Music Festival in the small mountain town of Quincy, California, where the elevation is twice the number of the population.
