SUPRALUKE (LUKE SMITH OF STRANGEFOLK) RELEASES NEW SINGLE, “HOOT”

Vermont-based multi-instrumentalist Supraluke released a new single, “Hoot.” Now available on YouTube accompanied by a kaleidoscopic lyric video, the percipient folk tune includes synth work from Ben Colette and piano accompaniment from Kevin Gift. “Hoot” is the first single off of the upcoming full-length album Songs for the Great Blue Heron, set to be released on 2/22/22.

Supraluke, or Luke Smith, is best known as the drummer of longstanding Burlington rock act Strangefolk. Inspired by a reconnection to nature during the COVID-19 pandemic, Smith learned the guitar and started writing songs. His forthcoming album provides an eclectic collection of music and features several notable artists from the northeast.
