BIG Something is a 6-piece jam band who has been taking the jam scene by storm. Saturday, April 14th, BIG Something took the stage at a Hodi’s Half Note in Fort Collins, Colorado. The night started off as excited fans strolled into the bar. Not only for Big Something, but big fans of the opening bands as well. I personally never heard of these bands before that night, but I was blown away.

Grammy-winning bluegrass mavericks THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS are announcing two special Lake Tahoe shows this summer, to follow Phish concerts in the area. The Tuesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 18 shows will take place at Harrah's Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV beginning at 11pm with special guests The Kitchen Dwellers opening.

PAT METHENY was born in Lee's Summit, MO on August 12, 1954 into a musical family. Starting on trumpet at the age of 8, Metheny switched to guitar at age 12. By the age of 15, he was working regularly with the best jazz musicians in Kansas City, receiving valuable on-the bandstand experience at an unusually young age. Metheny first burst onto the international jazz scene in 1974.

Highlighted by spirited headlining performances by The Devil Makes Three (Saturday), The Infamous Stringdusters (Friday), and Railroad Earth (Sunday), there was a profound additional component to this year’s WinterWonderGrass Tahoe. The weather. Before turning all sunny on Sunday, Friday and Saturday’s proceedings included periodic showers of snow, graupel (look it up), and a little rain.

After a 3-year hiatus, the OC Music Festival (OCMF), announces the schedule for the popular weekend music and camping festival held at Irvine Lake in Orange, CA May 4-6th.  Expanding from a two (2) day (Friday & Saturday) event to a three (3) event (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) for 2018, the OC Music Festival will feature the best jam and improvisational bands from Southern California on two stages.

Today, Let’s Danza! announces “Moneyhook”, its debut studio release.

The catchy synth-driven single was written and produced by Tom McKee and Clay Parnell, both of whom cut their teeth as members of Philadelphia-based indie-electronic pioneers Brothers Past starting back in 2000.

“The song is meant be sort of a commentary on the inevitable arc of fame,” McKee said.
