Dark Star Orchestra

Are you a Grateful Dead snob? An easy way to answer that question is to read through the following list of statements. If any describe you, then you might fit the bill.

1. You will only listen to soundboard recordings.
2. You measure a person based on how many shows they saw, regardless of their age.
3. People who think Phish was the logical next step after The Grateful Dead don't have a clue.

Dark Star Orchestra will be playing a benefit show for the Rex Foundation.  The show is taking place on September 27th, in Hollywood, California.

Festivities include:

Reception, Food, Drinks, Goodie Bags, Silent Auction, GA Balcony Seating and Concert Tickets: $150 & $500 (All but $60 is tax deductible)

Upgrade for Reception, with prior purchase of concert ticket:  $120 & $470

Thanks to all of you who were able to come out and see DSO this spring on our winding road to Manchester, TN. Along the way we were honored to welcome two very special guests as Rob Eaton Jr. joined DSO for "Easy Wind" on the first night and Phish's Mike Gordon sat in for a few tunes on both nights at Higher Ground in VT. The end of the road brought DSO to Bonnaroo greeted by thousands of fans under 'The Other Tent' for their Late Night slot on Thursday night.

Attendees of the 12th Annual All Good Festival should plan on staying up late, with the recent announcement that these following acts will be performing Late Night sets:

Gov't Mule (Friday Late Night)

Dark Star Orchestra (Saturday Late Night)

Dark Star Orchestra and Grateful Web teamed up to provide a streaming video broadcast of  May 4th, 2008's performance at The McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR.   Grateful Web will post the archive soon.
