July 2017

Imagine a world where every person is temporarily transported to outer space for the sole purpose of looking back on earth to experience its sheer beauty. For a brief moment, we could all escape the greatest atrocities of our time and take in an outer-world perspective to see all of humanity living in harmonious coexistence.

The elements are aligning for a seriously fun evening celebrating Jerry and the Grateful Dead this Tuesday, August 1st. Boogie on down to your local theater for our 7th Annual Meet-Up At The Movies. The previously unreleased and totally epic RFK Stadium 7/12/89 concert film promises beautiful visuals and pristine sound, and we promise general merry-making all around!

"Campfire Caravan" featuring The Brothers Comatose, Mipso, and The Lil Smokies hosts three of today's foremost emerging indie Americana bands as they trek across the United States -- stopping in more than 30 cities from Sept. 26 through Nov. 18, 2017. "Campfire Caravan" swings through Nashville for a sneak peak of the 15-musician road show at the 18th Annual AMERICANAFEST 2017 (Sept. 13) prior to kicking off the tour at the Pub Station in Billings, MT.

Music, imagery, and delightful anecdotes from San Francisco’s so-called Summer of Love intertwined in charming, profound fashion at the city’s newly renovated Nourse Theatre on July 22. Grateful Web had a few minutes to speak with The String Cheese Incident's Kyle Hollingsworth at this year's Electric Forest.  Kyle touched on the evolution of Electric Forest Festival, String Cheese getting well deserved air time on the radio, and working with Elephant Revival's Bonnie Paine.

GW: How was it to work with Bonnie Paine professionally? I know you guys are neighbors.
