Selcouth Quartet – the dynamic new improvisational group comprising drummer Joe Russo, guitarist Jonathan Goldberger, saxophonist/clarinetist/flutist Stuart Bogie, and bassist Jon Shaw – has announced the release of its self-titled debut album, arriving via Flóki Studios Records on October 20. Recorded in just five days at Iceland’s Flóki Studios, Selcouth Quartet is heralded by the new meditative and moody single,  “Smaller Horses,” available everywhere now.

Dead & Company's Final Tour rolled on to Queens, NY for a two-night stand at Citi Field, home of the NY Mets. Night one in the Big Apple kicked off on June 21, 2023, at this MLB stadium, with a capacity of around 41,000 fans. The band brought two vibrant sets that included a sit-in by drummer Joe Russo, from Joe Russo's Almost Dead.

It was a family affair at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT for Joe Russo's Almost Dead on May 13, 2023, as the daughters of both Joe Russo and Marco Benevento joined the band on stage during this late spring, pre-Mother's Day event.

Ten year anniversaries are certainly something to celebrate, and that is exactly what Joe Russo's Almost Dead did this past weekend with a four night run of shows in the New York City metro region. The performances were at the Brooklyn Bowl for the first night and the Capitol Theatre for the rest.

An ne’er before seen and heard assemblage of Phil Lesh & Friends came together at the Frost Amphitheater on the Stanford University campus for a dandy of a show on June 4.

The Sweetwater 420 Music Festival continued into day four, which had an equally impressive line up to the prior days. The weather continued to cooperate and made for a beautiful day at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Ga.
