In response to news of a potential executive order by President Trump on Refugee policy, Project Worthmore, Members of Flobots and NOENEMIES project, Coalition for an Inclusive Colorado, and many more organizations who help serve the refugee community are calling on Colorado residents to attend a rally across from the capitol at noon on Thursday, January 26th in order to affirm our support for the refugee community as our friends, neighbors, and family.

One day in 1997, two Deadhead musicians were ruminating about life without Jerry Garcia and simultaneously came up with the same idea: "Let's recreate a Grateful Dead show."  Around forty people came down to Martyrs' in Chicago on November 11, 1997, to hear the brand-new Dark Star Orchestra's rendition of the Dead's show of 10/8/81. They'd planned it as a four-week experiment, ninety folks showed up the second week, then two hundred, then a 400-person sell-out, so it seemed like a good idea to keep going.

Deep Roots Mountain Revival is proud to announce the initial lineup for its second annual music and arts festival happening July 20-22, 2017. Headliners Brandi Carlile and Lettuce will be joined by JJ Grey & Mofro, Moon Taxi, White Denim, Drake White and the Big Fire, TAUK, The Hip Abduction and many more. The festival takes place in Masontown, WV on the legendary Marvin’s Mountaintop providing a picturesque setting for three-days of camping, dancing and relaxing with friends.

This spring Cymbals Eat Guitars will be heading on the road for a handful of dates, opening for legendary rock band Pixies. The list of dates are below.

On March 24, Red Baraat will release Bhangra Pirates (Rhyme & Reason Records), a new album that reflects a more evolved and elaborate sound developed over the last two years of heavy touring and the addition of a full-time guitar player. The record features 8 tracks on the band’s first-ever vinyl release and 2 bonus tracks on the CD version.

2017 is shaping up to be a big year for Balkan Beat Box following the release of their 5th studio album Shout it Out last November. While putting the finishing touches on new music offerings to be released in the new year, the band have announced tour dates in select markets with additional dates tba soon.
