When life brings its unexpected twists and turns, some people can emerge at the end of the maze and surprise the world in the most inspiring of ways. Such is the case with singer and songwriter Maya De Vitry, whom following the disbanding of her former band—the highly acclaimed stringband trio The Stray Birds—has emerged with her debut solo album, Adaptations.

Label it what you will, Salvador Santana is a creator.  Handed a generational gift for creating music, he now steps out as a father and as a producer, musician, and artist of his own right.  His new single, Panic Mode is another collaboration unique to the Santana name but in his own direction, it may not sound what you’d expect a Santana song to sound like. Longtime favorite of Grateful Web, Steven Graves plays his own style of rock and soul in venues across the West Coast and Mountain States. He’s a guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader who’s always followed his gut instincts when it comes to bringing together a great song. Without leaning heavily on covers, and humble enough to bring in accomplished bandmates who bring a gigantic spectrum of styles and energy.

Many of the world’s visionaries started small, whether it be a simple idea in the basement of their childhood home, or in their local community kicking around ideas with friends and family. The truth is, creating something truly ground-breaking usually begins organically, with the creator not intending to create what it becomes. Particle is just that, a small band based out of Los Angeles, California in 2000, simply experimenting with classic electronic loops from iconic groups like Kraftwerk and applying live instrumentals that inspired them.

Keller Williams is a stand-alone kind of guy. With looping as his signature musical move, he has been in and out of loops ranging from gospel to funk bluegrass to now instrumental?  It’s true.
