Chromatic harmonica player and vibraphonist Hendrik Meurkens leads his Samba Jazz Quartet featuring drummer Portinho to celebrate the music of the great João Donato. Joining Hendrik will be Misha Tsiganov on piano, Gili Lopez on bass, and Portinho on drums.

Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz will ring in the New Year on December 30 & 31 at JaM Cellars Ballroom in Napa, CA. Joining Les, Skerik, and Mike Dillon is special guest Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. Vinnie has toured and recorded with many artists, including Frank Zappa, having played drums on the iconic Joe’s Garage album. The King Street Giants will open the show. The Roots were also among the most progressive acts in contemporary music, from their 1993 debut through their conceptual 2010s releases. Despite the seemingly archaic practice of functioning as a rap band with several instrumentalists -- from 2007 onward, their lineup even featured a sousaphonist -- they were ceaselessly creative, whether with their own material or through their varied assortment of collaborations. They went platinum and gold with successive studio releases and won a handful of Grammy Awards.

Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the legendary 3x GRAMMY® winning Salsa and Latin jazz band, has received a GRAMMY ® nomination for their new album Imágenes Latinas. Nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album, this dynamic record finds the iconic group traveling through a wide variety of moods and styles while paying homage to the iconic New York Latin pop group, Conjunto Libré. The 65th annual GRAMMY® Awards will take place on February 5, 2023.

The Marley Brothers - Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian, and Ky-Mani join together for an unforgettable debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre performing classic songs from Bob Marley's catalog as well as Marley Brothers originals.
